You are the first example I have seen who applied in 2011 and got 6-12 months wait letter, please confirm the full details (exact dates) as per google file link in my signatures...I will update your entry in the system,,,,as your brother already got the updated docs request so you will be the next...
Please also confirm if your brother also received the 6-12 months letter and if yes then please also share his details so I can update it in the list....
because this list is only for those who got 6-12 months wait letters....

he applied his initial application in APRIL 2010, not 2011 ......(He accidentally must have written 2011 instead of 2010 in his side profile), as noc 4131 was not present in MI-2..

Looking at his sent msgs, I think these are his details:

Noc: 4131
Initial application to nova scotia: April, 2010
1st AOR = June, 2010
Full docs: July 2010
2nd AOR = August 2010

U can confirm with him and then edit his details.

yes, my mistake,
Infact, me and my brother both applied under NOC 4131 in april 2010.
My brother got wait letter 6 - 12 months in July 2012 while I got the wait letter in Aug 2012.
My brother got updated documents request in Nov 2012. He was asked only to update the forms and Fees. We sent the updated documents just within 5 days of getting letter. We got the second request of updated documents for my brother in December 2012 with 25 days time limit. In second letter, the CHC London asked for Original degrees.
Mean while, I requested for Caips notes and in caips notes for both of us, It says medical request sent by BIZZ etc etc,
As keeping in mind the difference of One month between waiting letter for me and for my brother, I send an email to get any update for my case, and I got a reply that my back ground check is going on and cant get any thing until back grounds check get finished. Keeping my email reply, we send an eamil to find about my brother case and CHC london replied that we have recieved your updated documents and waiting by the visa officer to review. why not back ground checks for my brother and why back grounds check for me before updated documents?
Just wondered that every thing is same, we both are twins, both applied under 4131, both applied at same time, both have CHC london visa office, but big difference in processing.

Difference can be due to no of reasons..

1) Different visa officers looking at your case and your brother's case. Check it out who is your visa officer and your brother's. Also initial processing at CIO could be done by different agents. check caips for you and your brother and any notes and concern raised by an officer.

2) Quality / quantity of documents sent by you and your brother.

It is just an automated reply your CAIPS notes suggest your background checks have been done

Very informative indeed!
Due to tough criteria many applications will be rejected from the starting point itself and CIC will process our cases faster due to limited applications...
Just you will see all backlog who have clear approval like us eather will get the updated docs or MR in next 1-2 months insha Allah

In my last email from LVO for updated docs there is a new and different sentence "Please allow four months for us to review incoming correspondence. Please do not contact us unless there are significant issues which need to be brought to our attention". This sentence was not there in previous emails. May be pointing to background checks in progress.
