No holidays there. when there is no to receive the goods, the City Link leaves a card there to inform about the goods. Then the next day, another attempt to deliver is made. My shipment is out for delivery. waiting for an update.

LVO doesn't close completely except two days 25th and 26th Dec.As for as TCS serviceses are concerned they work through thier partner in UK .If someone has concern about delivery as it happened with my shipment returned undelivered .I got Agent tracking no from TCS pakistan (not previous of TCS pak) and tracked on city link(Partner).Whole description was available on website even mentioned business card was dropped at the office because the deputed person to recieve was gone (+4 local time).following were SAT and SUN therefore on the 4th day my shipment was deliverd .City link updated with in 2-3 hrs while tcs pak did on the 3rd day.
It was my personal experience ,hopefully to help and satisfy members

I always use FedEx to send my documents & on "Proof of delievery" normally they write the "name of person to whom package was delievered/ Security Station", to my understanding my packages are normally received by the Security guys. How it is possible that "Security Guards" are also on leave??????

That's why I always say TCS sucks. (And use DHL or some better service if u have the option). Coz TCS:
1. They use another courier service to deliver out of pakistan.
2. U cannot track shipment at every single step.
3. This "cannot hold for more than a week" bukwaas (coz they r using another carrier).

I never had these issues with DHL....When I sent my initial application to canada, there was an "ash storm in april 2010 in europe" which resulted in no flights, and my application was held in london for 14 days, but then when the flights started again, my package continued ahead to canada nova scotia, and did not face this "cannot hold for more than one week" bukwaas. (Took 18 days in total from pak to canada).
So guys try n use DHL or some other more reliable service. TCS is only good for shipment within the country (as its a local company). Rest, again, is your choice

P.s: damn, I almost sound like a DHL agent purpose is use ANY service which does not give u trouble later on. And TCS is known for frustrating its international users alot.

2. For kids 5 to 11 years, Rs. 1950 (But not 100% sure; plus/ minus Rs. 100).
3. For kids less than 05 years, Rs. 1800.

The price difference is on the basis of type & no of tests. Have just got appointment for our medicals; to be done on Jan 21st at Lahore facility. They have informed me to bring RS. 10600 (02 adults + 02 kids < 05 yrs age) in cash, no credit cards accepted.

I assume that info you provided is from IMO and not from LVO. Please confirm.

Secondly , how do we need to proceed with getting result sheet of the last annual examination for kids? If no medical examination has been conducted for the kids, for the fact that they did not face any health problem, then do we need to get the same before appearing for medical examination to IOM?

BTW--- I did not get instruction regarding bringing last annual examination sheet of kids either from LVO or IOM.
