Yes, already mentioned at top "its from IOM". In my case i did not bother about "the annual kids examination" because both of my kids are under 5 years of age. I believe its a generic mail (& this point does not apply to Pakistani's) but if someone has some real experience, please share for the benefit of forum members.

Regarding last part of your post, what u r trying to tell is that all other contents of mail are same as in your case (the mail you received from IOM) except this annual examination point??

I assume that info you provided is from IMO and not from LVO. Please confirm.

Secondly , how do we need to proceed with getting result sheet of the last annual examination for kids? If no medical examination has been conducted for the kids, for the fact that they did not face any health problem, then do we need to get the same before appearing for medical examination to IOM?

BTW--- I did not get instruction regarding bringing last annual examination sheet of kids either from LVO or IOM.

The City-Link network is serving as a partner for TCS in the UK.

This is a local service provider but still can be trusted.

LVO doesn't close completely except two days 25th and 26th Dec.As for as TCS serviceses are concerned they work through thier partner in UK .If someone has concern about delivery as it happened with my shipment returned undelivered .I got Agent tracking no from TCS pakistan (not previous of TCS pak) and tracked on city link(Partner).Whole description was available on website even mentioned business card was dropped at the office because the deputed person to recieve was gone (+4 local time).following were SAT and SUN therefore on the 4th day my shipment was deliverd .City link updated with in 2-3 hrs while tcs pak did on the 3rd day.
It was my personal experience ,hopefully to help and satisfy members

Try TNT next time if someone needs to send something as is reliable and global. Used once last months for docs from Pakistan and were delivered in 4 days. Full tracking as well including even when out for delivery as I tracked mine and were delivered promptly.

TNT is good but its not working in my area now. A second attempt was made by the beat agent of the City Link but there was no one to receive the shipment. He visited after 5:07. May be the embassy working hour for the public was closed then.? Confused

1. They will try to finish visa issuance before new 04.May.2013

2. Even they start new applications, it looks many of cases will get rejected due to tight criteria

So they will have to issue visas for thoze who are in pipe....like us who are already assessed and approved cases!

I hope you all will agree to this and it my internal feeling that (Jan-Feb 2013) 100% of us will go to next level either updated docs request or MR together

Just want to add one more thing is that when new application will be submitted it will first forwarded to nova scotia and than forwarded to respective visa office where more time will be consumed, so i believe that even 2013 full visa quota will be applied to the pipe line waiters.

Medical Instructions as received from IOM through email:


Required documents to bring:

1. Original passports of all family members with 2 photocopies of first two pages.

2. Five (5) recent passport size photographs (white background with light clothing colors).

3. Medical Request Letter/ Acknowledgement Letter from Canadian High Commission.

4. Medical form (Appendix C or Section A) from Canadian High Commission.

5. In sponsor ship case provide address of visa processing office.

6. Spectacles or medical history (if have any).

7. Total Fee for the above mentioned family is Rs.10, 600 it should be in cash.



Medical procedure comprises of

• Laboratory Sampling (Blood test, Urine Test and X-rays)

• Physical examination.



General Instructions:

For Children 5 to 11 years

They have to bring the result sheet of the last annual examination.



For Elderly

Applicants have to mention about the Mobility need.



For All ages

As part of physical examination all body skin would be examined except genitalia so be prepared and wear appropriate undergarments.



For Female

It is mandatory that you inform us about menstrual cycle, as in case of your periods we will be unable to conduct your medical assessment.



Note: Do not bring any kind of luggage and unnecessary attendant with you.

I completed my medical at ISB IOM on 17th Dec 2012. They charged 3500+3500+1850 ( 1 year Old kid).

Medical Request Letter/ Acknowledgement Letter from Canadian High Commission. ( We were three person in family So they asked three copies of MR letter) one for one passport, 4 pictures, 2 copies of passports.

All process took 4 hrs.

First they took Chest XRAY

2nd they took Urine sample. ( Night mare. Because i was drinking water since i was in IOM office. )

Third they checked eye sights. ( It was also horrible as they asked us to read the said articles in mirror reflection with one eye. They checked both eyes by closing one by one. It was very difficult because of the light reflection and the size of the articles was too small)

4th they checked BP

5th They took blood samples.

6th The Doctor took physical examination ( To find out the any surgery or orthopedic problems)

In last the good thing was the Doctor briefly explain me ( Principle Applicant) that your family is passed in medical assessment and all reports are fine and they will send it to India in three days.

With reference to your title, this is the first time CIC is announcing a specific date for Federal Skilled Workers Program after they have temporarily stopped accepting new applications without arranged employment offers. You must have confused it with Federal Skilled Trades Stream which will start on January 2, 2013.

Here is an overview of the new FSW program - what are the changes and how points will be calculated based on the new system. Please find the link below:
