dear all
i am trying to get an appointment for medical from IOM but they are not taking the calls. instead we get a recording which instructs us to email them for an appointment.
my questions are
1. wht are the information we shud give in the email for appointment. like shud we give them UCI and DoB as well as passport no. or just the name and passport no.
2. the email i was given is - mhdislamabad @ iom.int is this the correct email

Strange....Feeling lucky because in Pakistan most of us don't write postal codes in adress. I too sent my forms without these.

Have been asked to re submit supplementary information form again with the wordings I quote "Supplementary Information Form for principal applicant (please complete and return the attached form). You must include postal codes in address information". This is basically MS word form you get from LVO as attachment needing your last 10 years address and employment history. My UK address was ok having postal codes as its unthinkable an address in UK without postal codes, being incomplete. I think this refers to postal codes in Pakistan e.g Islamabad is 4400. Just rubbish as in Pakistan postal codes in address is not that important. simple thing to comply but just another correspondence and response and delay. But encouraging in the sense that rest seems ok otherwise would have been asked like POF etc. Lets hope for the best. No Christmas Present from LVO as was expecting medical 8) :'(

Hopefully not, until & unless u don't request to add another baby in your application......... Well, for me u can withdraw money at this stage. RPRF is just like 1000CAD & still it will take like atleast 3-4 moths for visa issuance & even after that it will take like 6-8 months for landing (if you are ready in all respects) , so in that time subject amount can be easily replenished.

They may ask at the time of stamping the passport. Its upto to them. In the past, they were used to ask for the PoF at the time of submitting final docs; at the time of MR; and at the time of PPR1.

In simple words, keep the money in your account until you land in Canada and then do what ever you want

In simple words, keep the money in your account until you land in Canada and then do what ever you want

Its not a must. One can withdraw amount to convert them into dollars for landing in Canada once the visa is stamped.

i am sorry i mean to say the same that money should be available till reach canada as on arrival you need to fill the form where you need to declare cash+gold+draft etc...

Just worked out the attendance of all in our list and the result in the first column....Present updated the full current status

Approx 65% are present on this forum....not bad....i did my best to update the info at one place...

and i hope in few weeks time once our updates will start attendance will go further up....
