Forgot to let you guys know. I finally received my second set of GCMS notes on Friday 27th May. Had ordered it on 27th April (5.5 month mark). It is completely identical to the first set of notes! No change whatsoever except the record showing that I ordered GCMS. They still haven't even touched my file since they transferred to the local office on Dec 4th, 2015. I want to know what the heck these guys do during working hours from Monday to Friday if they are not working on our applications?!?!??

BTW one question, Did you ever received any ghost mail after applying your GCMS for the first time and on the second time ? Just let me know.

No no ghost emails, or updated status changes nothing. MyCIC is frozen in time for me.

Good morning folks!! I'm happy to announce my PPR post a wait of 7 months, 1 week and 6 days!! My application was approved on 6th April and as per CIC RFV was sent then only, however it wasn't received either by me or by my lawyer. Thanks to this forum and specially adin.blr, who posted his details here and I could follow the same steps to snatch my PPR from CIC !!

To my fellow waitlisters - Please get in touch with CIC (Put URGENT and application number in the subject line and your query and details such as first/last name, client ID, date of birth in the email) if you haven't done already, I wish you also announce the news soon and that we celebrate together in Canada! BTW ..3 days after I paid money to Visafile.info ...my credit card issuing bank blocked my card for some suspicious transactions internationally and now issued me a new card !!!
Thankfully only the money charged by visafile was debited to my account ...!! This is just for the information.

The first time it took only about 18 days and I was pleasantly surprised because I was expecting it to take 30 - 45 days. The second one took exactly 30 days and I was obviously a bit disappointed because I started getting restless around the 18 day mark.

I too am getting restless because I started expecting my GCMS from 20th May...looks like this express entry system will teach us a lot about Human Psychology

It took exactly 31 days for my notes this time around. Last time it took almost 50 days I emailed them after like 35 days and they acknowledged that it was overdue, but still had not sent it for another 10 days or so. I hope you get them soon. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to it, as far as I observed.

On a separate note, I am considering calling IRCC again today. Last time I spoke with an agent two weeks ago, she told me I should be hearing something in the next couple of weeks. Those are now up, and I still have heard nothing, nor have I received any ghost emails. This wait is ridiculous.

Btw, taekwondo, what's the situation with your medical? When does it expire and what are you going to do about it? My expires early September, so I am getting a bit concerned about that.

They get generated within couple of days after you place a request. What I assume they do is white out the security part and then scan it for emailing, so that's the part that takes long.

If that is the case then my GCMS dint help my file in any way, the status as per call center agent was same 1+ month back i.e. before I ordered GCMS and was same last week

Yeah. I ordered GCMS three times and none of those times had it helped my file. I think that's just a myth. I cannot imagine same agents processing applications and GCMS requests. It must be a totally different department.
