Thanks for leading the way, Yampower! And it's been a real pleasure taking some of that workload off youYamPower said:I have to thank him too! Since he became so helpful I get fewer inbox messages ;D Just kidding! (but it's true). He's very patient and his responses are clear and concise. Can't ask for more than that
Same here. I've been called bro or man so many times.Asivad Anac said:Thanks for leading the way, Yampower! And it's been a real pleasure taking some of that workload off you
Our timelines are very similar and hope the coming week brings us both good news!
PS: I'm fascinated by the near-unanimity in using the masculine pronoun while addressing me. A neat little sociology experiment on the sidelines.

I like how you are so patient even with silly questions where people don't want to do basic search.
I must learn it from you.
But, you are doing a good job.
I owe you a beer!

The way I see it, this forum has to be patient with noobs because Immigration is such a hugely important decision that people often spend too much time and money looking for simple advise and someone who can handhold them through the process. Better us than some shady immigration consultant any day, right.
Having said that, I do sometimes wish people would google before popping a question here.
Asivad Anac said:Unfortunately, 395 is just below the cutoff of 400 for OOPNP so you are currently ineligible for that program. At this score, it promises to be a long wait for a 'regular' ITA and each province has their own eligibility criteria. You'll have to spend time on the forum and online, in general, to research and understand if you even want to apply for a Saskatchewan or a New Brunswick PNP even if you're eligible for those.
Can you share the breakup of your CRS score so that we can find out where you could possibly enhance your score?
All the best!

The reason may be cultural. Many persons on this site are from Asian countries where women are perhaps less likely to hold positions of consultation, especially for quasi-legal matters. Besides, my real name is somewhat unisex.
After a while you just don't bother correcting anyone. It doesn't matter anyway.
And yes I have a feeling about this week. Persons from the late March to early April ITA batches are getting PPR before the end of the month.
Thanks for your kind words Asivad Anac, I really appreciate it .Asivad Anac said:A shout-out to the wonderful problem solver on this forum, DoubleS!
Cutting across various categories of immigration, documentation, provincial programs, medicals and just your regular homegrown passport/visa issues, he has been a wonderfully well-informed source of support for everyone here. Maybe you and I would make a good tag team for that consultancy firm idea someday!
Thank you for your kindness!
