Yes, bank statement of your father and a letter from him stating that he supports her financially (and will be providing funds for his wife's expenses) will be enough.

Not sure if details of your mom's siblings make a lot of difference - give address to the nearest possible location and their DOBs - but make sure to keep them safe so that if you or any of your relatives apply again, you should know what you had submitted. To be safe - ask your mom if she knows what their DOBs are as par their passports.
Thanks a lot

From YOUR side:
NOA,
Employment letter
Invitation letter
Bank statement (to show funds)
Medical insurance from Canadian insurance firm

From your PARENTS side:
Their employment/business/pension documents or property documents (to prove Ties to home country)
Their purpose of visit
Travel history
Their relationship to you (birth certificate)
Travel Itinerary (provisional tickets) etc

You can find list mentioned in CIC website in detail.

Thank you !!

Congratz!
My parents got visa with passport too - but only 3 years because their passports expire after 3 years.

Thank you @Bryanna and @scylla for your help - you guys are great!
Though parents had no property or their pension or their job letter to show visa officer - but your suggestion of itinerary and on correcting the purpose of visit really worked out. Though we got a visa for 3 years, but I'm glad at least they'll be here for 2 year stay period :)

1) can anyone tell me what is the minimum amount my parents must show in their bank account in pakistan for their super visa?

2) my last year salary was $52,000 CAD per year. we are 4 here and including parents we would be 6. Can anyone confirm what is minimum salary i must have in last year to apply for my parent super visa. I checked on site and discussed with some people but i received different information from different resources.

3) how much minimum amount should be there in my back account if i want to sponsor my parent super visa, please keep in mind we are 4 and including parents we would be 6.

4) can my siblings ( living in canada) be a part of sponsorship for our parents super visa?

thanks in advance

Hello Zain,

1. Your parents do not need to show bank statements for super visa. It is only required for a regular visa. Since the super visa is more like a sponsor visa, you will have to show that you can support them. Although, I cant say it will hurt if you include your parents' bank statements.
2. To meet the LICO requirements, both you and your spouse together must be making a total of $58,473. Please click here to see these same requirements on the cic website.
3. You do not have to show your bank statement. You basically have to provide documents, such as Notice of Assessment, etc. to prove that you meet the LICO requirements.
4. No, super visa is only for parents and grandparents. Your siblings will have to apply through the regular visit visa and meet the requirements for a regular visit visa which will include, but not limited to, ties back to Pakistan, bank statements, background check, etc.

your parent's bank statement isnt required - what I meant earlier was that I provided bank statement because I had nothing of my parents that I could provide to visa officers - no property, no job letter or business or pension or tax refunds etc. Used the formula of something is better than nothing.
