You are absolutely correct. I've had really bad experiences with Maroof twice. Which is why I was apprehensive knowing this was IOM's chosen panel. When we did our medical in 2015, it was some place in G-6, I think. This is a new designate. So when I found out about Maroof being the designated hospital, I got a complete medical checkup done for my mother from Aga Khan in Karachi a month before she applied for supervisa (She had gone to karachi for a visit fortunately). We just wanted to be sure there are no surprises at the time of visa medical. Thankfully, the people at Maroof didn't pinpoint anything she didn't already know. But I completely agree that it's a money making prospect for them. They don't have a very nice reputation. God knows why the Canadian immigration authorities chose this as their designated facility.
