My mother has very high blood pressure and an enlarged heart issue. She got supervisa in spite of that.

May God bless her with long life with good health , Thank you Carpedium.

did you provide anything from hospital to show that she is stable patient or anything else?

Thank you, and ameen, my friend.
We didn't have to provide anything. When she went to get her medical done, she took her recent annual medical checkup file with her in case they asked her something. But they didn't refer to her previous file at all. Just checked her BP and got xrays. When it came on the high side and enlarged heart was shown in the x-ray, they referred her to an ecg there and then. She got that done, and that was it. Alhamdulillah all was found well and they passed her medical. Please note that the ECG wasn't part of the original medical, so she had to pay extra for that. But getting it done was no problem as they referred a cardiologist themselves who was on their panel, and she could get it done from there immediately.
Hope it helps.

Hi ,
Is there is anyone who is still waiting for his/her parents medical request , after application/ biometric submission ?
I have applied on Jan 25th 2018 .
I have seen in this forum that many ppl are getting it within 1 week .
Not sure what is the normal wait time ?

They said exactly the same thing for my mother in 2016 and we ended up paying extra monies for ECG and stuff and later they cleared the medical. But this also triggered me to get my mother a full check up especially for her heart condition in other reputed hospital and Allahamdulilah things were fine and there was nothing whatsoever as the Maroof's doctor mentioned.
Last month my mother went for another medical and this time they found a scar in her chest x-ray. We ended up paying extra monies for sputum test to trace the TB etc and they advised for another x-ray after two months. These guys are culprits they know Canadian medical is a good business and people cant do anything.
This is the reason I asked where did your mother go for medicals.

You are absolutely correct. I've had really bad experiences with Maroof twice. Which is why I was apprehensive knowing this was IOM's chosen panel. When we did our medical in 2015, it was some place in G-6, I think. This is a new designate. So when I found out about Maroof being the designated hospital, I got a complete medical checkup done for my mother from Aga Khan in Karachi a month before she applied for supervisa (She had gone to karachi for a visit fortunately). We just wanted to be sure there are no surprises at the time of visa medical. Thankfully, the people at Maroof didn't pinpoint anything she didn't already know. But I completely agree that it's a money making prospect for them. They don't have a very nice reputation. God knows why the Canadian immigration authorities chose this as their designated facility.

I was thinking to lodge a complaint. I am not associated with any doctor or hospital but there are other 100s of reputed doctors and hospitals who could perform this thing very well and 100 times better than maroof. Why should someone pay extra and go through the pain and waste of time when there is nothing to be worried about. It is okay if they increase the cost a bit the fake ways they use to rob people and the lies must be stopped.
