I received email from our insurance provider as well stating rules have changed and IRCC does not accept monthly instalments anymore. So I paid for the full year and will send updated webform with the 12 month payment to IRCC today just to be on the safe side since I have already had 1 refusal.

What was the reason for the refusal if you dont mind telling. btw after how long did you get the final feedback from them?

They said I did not attach income proof but I had attached Pay Slips, Employment letters, Bank statements. I also sent my NOA later once I filled the tax, they still refused. I applied Feb end and got refusal last week.

I am not sure but when we applied i.e. 6 April 2022, IRCC might be accepting certificate showing term of insurance as a year and monthly payments.

Since we have not heard back yet, I am thinking if we should pay for the rest of the term and upload via webform.

I would suggest to call them and asked for application status ! because I applied for my in-laws last summer and they are here since june ! if you need more help I can help

My father has got super visa stamp on his passport just last week. However, it is only valid up to December 2027. Isn't it supposed to be 10 years? Till 2027, it is a long time, but I was just wondering why not the entire 10 years.

Yes it was approved ! My in laws got their visas in April and they are here in Canada since June !!
That is why I said, call them to know the status of application if you haven’t heard anything from them yet !! Need help you can text me at above mentioned number !

Well I shared my invitation letter with 2 IRCC consultants and both agreed it couldn't be any better. I believe it is just one of those days when the officer wasn't in the mood to give visa...It happens now and then...

Just a friendly advice - Its better if you do not advertise your number on public forum or else you will start getting lots of spam calls. Happened with another person on here in past.
