Hi,

As I have applied for supervisa for my parents from GCKey portal Oct-23, 2021. Medical Pass- Dec-15,2021, Eligibility review started somewhere in Feb,2022

I am thinking of replying on New portal, please suggest Should i wait or really at new portal.

Notarized is not mandatory but some recommend it. In our first application we didn’t use notarized, second application we notarized our invitation letter. Still waiting.

Purpose of travel - we wrote a letter. We attached property docs in additional docs section.

I applied for Supervisa in 2021 and application still in progress. I am going to apply via new portal but I want to know if in new application on new portal will I be given option to enter my existing application in process?

Is there an option in new portal to provide previous application number and if not how do I provide that info? Is it required?

Hi. You will be able to enter the UCI number - that remains the same for both old and new applications. That was they get all the info from your old application - biometrics.

For 2, I am hearing mixed opinions regarding submitting docs to prove ties to home country. Some are saying that is not required for Supervisa but is required for visitor visa only and some are saying that we have to submit it for Supervisa also. In current Covid times, it is risky for older parents to go around collecting documents which might not be really required.

Yes, this is what I am reading. My dad has sufficient amount in investments but property is on my Grandparents name as we live together. Covid has made everything very unpredictable.

My parents only had a church wedding certificate. So we submitted that and copies of their passport that have their names as spouses. We also wrote a LOE stating the same.

It doesn't hurt to raise a webform although I have seen posts here mentioning IRCC withdrew the GC key applications. Congratulations, first of all. Can you please share your timelines?

10 weeks from submission date to PPR (Nov 18 2021 - Jan 31 2022)
2 days from PPR to final decision being approved

Applied on GCKey: 21st August 2021
Biometrics request: 24 August 2021
Biometrics Submitted: 27 August 2021

Resubmitted application (New IRCC portal): 18th November 2021
Medicals passed: 23rd December 2021
Eligibility Started: 26th Jan 2022
BVL: 31 Jan 2022
PPR for both applicants: 31 Jan 2022
Approved : 7 Feb 2022

Is anyone here still waiting on SuperVisa for parents residing in Pakistan after more than a year?

I applied for my parents on January 20th 2021 and have not heard much from CIC at all. Last update was biometrics uploaded on January 6th 2022 (Yes after almost a full year) and nothing since. I did launch a second application in November 2021 as instructed by CIC when I emailed them to inquire about the application. Both applications are on the CIC GC website.

Standard time for SuperVisa applications from Pakistan is currently 405 days so I am still technically within that time frame. But I am wondering if if there are others in the same boat...
