sorry to hear, may be you keep sending webforms. Try uploading emedical sheet again as one person did this and it worked. I heard many people got ppr who applied in Oct 2021. Wish you get faster processing.

Hi folks, I would appreciate some guidance on the following (apologies in advance if this has been answered here already):
I'd like to apply for a super visa for my parents (who already hold a visitor's visa for Canada). Since they are currently visiting me in Canada, I was thinking of having them take their upfront medicals while they're already here and then submit the Super visa application upon their departure. Have others taken this route? Taking medicals in a country that is not their residence and more specifically, from within Canada?
Finally, I'm assuming they don't have to do their biometrics since they had their last ones done recently when they applied for their TRV?

I have submitted 4-5 webform. I get standard reply for all:
"Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
We verified the information you provided and can confirm that the application is still in process.
All the required documents and information have been received by the responsible office for the moment.

I have put a query through my local MP and her office also got same reply.
I contacted IRCC on twitter and there also they gave me same reply.
The point is that they have not even looked at the application yet.
I have no idea when they will start.
Even though I have submitted the application on the new portal, it somehow got stuck.
I dont know what to do now.

My parents have a super-visa and it is going to expire in end of April 2022. They are planning to come on 8th March 2022. I heard from somewhere that when they arrive on 8th March, they can stay for 2 years starting from the day they entered even if the visa is ending in April 2022. Can anybody confirm that?

sometimes, mp office can get detailed reply on status. like I our account, it shows background processing but mp office can tell what part of background processing is complete. but I suggest, keep sending webform with emedical sheet, it should work, no other way. some people applied 3 or 4 times, and they got ppr in few days, but it's our choice, I did not go for it

My parents applied for their super visa on October 7, 2020. After few days IRCC requested the Saliva test for consecutive 3 days. Then in Mid January, they requested follow up X-ray and after that never heard of anything. Has anyone ever been in the similar situation. How long IRCC usually takes to issue super visa. I know that processing times are not that long.

i had applied on 14th October 2021 with upfront medicals which passed on 7th December 2021
And submitted biometrics on 29th November 2021
but there was no movement after the medicals was completed.
Called up IRCC they said to raise a webform as they didn’t have enough information. So I did as directed but didn’t get any response.
Eventually I took a chance to re-submit the app through new portal
submitted on 3rd Feb 2022
Biometrics got updated on 3rd Feb 2022
Then today on 9th Feb I directly got the passport request.
But am not sure why but under biometrics or medicals section it still says no information required which is weird even after receiving passport request
additionally I have a question, my mother has paid the VFS advance for courier charges. My question is do we need to go to VFS to submit the passport with the letter or will someone collect these docs from our home and will we receive the passport with stamp directly to our home address ?

we are in the same boat I also apply supervisa for my mother online application on GC portal apply in October 2021 but till now no movement.
Please keep posting if anything change, what you think should I reapply on new portal?

This is for for new portal. I have the same timeline as yours for my parents first application. Reapplied again on new portal in Dec 2021. But still waiting. Please keep us posted if you really and get an update. Thanks & good luck!
