No it did not show anything. I just checked on Saturday night and it said it was closed and approved. Hope they mail my passport back soon.

I just got an e-mail today with my letter of approval. The letter states that I have to show it upon my entry in Canada together with my passport but I don't know why because they still have my passport. Any ideas guys?

Check the return tracking number, I think they will return it to you very soon.

You are welcome. Actually you need to keep the tracking number yourself. And when was your passport delivered to the consulate? Did you send them by express mail with delivery confirmation or something? My mail should be sogned by someone but obiviously the driver just left it there, and I habe not heard from cic yet.

Yes I sent them an express mail and usps sent me a delivery confirmation with proof of delivery. It was delivered on thursday afternoon. Have you contacted the usps office in LA? Mine couldn't be delivered on the first attempt too.

Mine was not delivered first time (at 11 am) but then the tracking shows it was delivered after 2 hours (about 2 or 3 pm)
It is confusing, did you check the delivery confirmation? It does not looks like a signature anyway...

yeah it doesn't look like it but at least it got delivered. Let's hope for the best!
