Are you still waiting for your passport to be returned? I hope you have received it by now....if so can you update us with the good news and your dates?

Wishing you the best...

Has anyone else who have received PPR's received their visas yet? If so, can you let us know?

Hey guys

I ordered my notes a couple of days ago and they gave me a tracking number where can i track it?

And second qs im pregnant Alhamdullah and i was wondering would it speed the process up if i send them a paper that im pregnant?

Thank u :)

Congratulations!!! Mabrook!! on your pregnancy :)

The reference number is only useful if you are well past the 30 days they need to process the notes. Then you could probably enquire. I ordered notes a couple of months ago and it took the full 30 days for them to arrive.

First of all congrats on pregnancy. Hope it will speed up the process.
However, somehow pregnancy wont affect the process time. We have a 2 year old daughter and processing still taking long,

Congratulations to all those who have received good news recently.

I'm feeling pretty low. I see that others on a similar timeline to me are getting their PR. I received an email over a week ago asking me to send a copy of my 16 year old daughter's full birth certificate and proof of sole custody/father's permission to bring her to Canada. My husband (our sponsor) is her stepfather.

I can't provide what CIC are asking as I've had no contact with my daughter's father for nearly 14 years. I have no idea what to do :(

Send them a letter explaining why you can't provide them with the requested documents

I did email them and explain the situation. I just hope it's good enough, but I fear it won't be.

I'm getting stressed over this. We're now in Canada (was living in the UAE when I submitted my application) and don't want to have to go to the UK to try and sort out a court order (although I will if I have to.)

Sponsor is Citizen or PR ?

You have to be a Canadian citizen to apply for sponsorship while you are outside of Canada

If you are a PR , you should be living in Canada to sponsor your spouse

senior or experience people, pls respond,
my wife (sponsor) is in canada taking care of our 1 year old baby who is severly ill. How much minimum financial statement should i show that will help in my immigration? Is there a minimum figure? Thanks

I pray for your baby's healing and health. And for you and your wife as this cannot be easy. Because your wife is sponsoring a spouse, there is no min income requirement other than she cannot be on social assistance and must agree to fully support you for three full years. I don't think your income is a consideration either as you are applying under spousal sponsorship. The most important thing is that the relationship is genuine and that the application is complete and truthful. Hopefully this helps.

Thanks chilkootcee for the reply and your prayer. Definitely it is a distressful situation.
May Allah make it easier for us.
