so mad people who has same outline as me already in Canada, I am waiting for any updating to my husband file but nothing is happening can not wait any longer. I sent an email to as a general inquiry and surprisingly answering me the next day saying that
" This is in response to your recent email enquiry.
The file remains in the active processing queue. At this time we are unable to provide any specific timeframes as to when this application may be finalized.
Please note that files are processed on a first-come-first-served basis"

hope everything will go fine and hear soon from them as well I pray for everyone who is going through this process

I have simple question , I was asked for additional documents regards to my marriage . I have already put together and ready to send it very soon.
Is this good sign that they are ready for final decision ?

I don't think they will need anymore additional documents after this . We paid everything upfront and done medical up front . All update on ecas.

so when they ask for additional documents does that mean end is near ?

I just have a question .. They also asked for a proof for sponsor's intent to resume residence in canada
I am the sponsor and i dont get it do they want me to cancel my residency in saudia arabia And send them a cooy of my cancelled residency or what??
Other thing is after he gets his visa we have to travel to canada within a specifi time before the visa expires right?? If so after we go there will he get his prr soon enough or will it take time?
And will they give him time to wrap up everything before going to settle there ??

Please if anyone can answer my qs plz do so ..

YES THIS IS RIGHT AND YOU CAN ALSO SHOW THEM ANY RENT AGREEMENT IN CANADA OR ANY BYING PROPERTY EMAILS AND TICKETS ETC

THEY ARE ALWAYS POSATIVE AND THEREFORE THEY DECEISDE BASED ON THE DOCUEMTNS AVAILALBE WITH THEM WHICH HELP THEM TO DECIDE POSATIVELY.

It looks like they are working on applications received on January of 2015

So i have to wait another 3 months

Did your E-cas change to Decision Made or not yet?

keep us posted about the visa stamping process, How long will it take to get the passport back.

Wonderful news! Alhamdullilah!!! Regarding the requirements to prove intention to return to Canada....perhaps someone who has been requested the same could answer??? I'm not sure if cancelling residency is the best thing - it may depend on your circumstances...you could tell them that upon receiving the passport with the visa that you will cancel your residency...but I wouldn't do it in advance....any advice seniors??? in case it takes longer to return your passport...

also, I think your visa will expire when your medical expires....which is 12 months from the date it was done. so when did you do your medical?

What i will do is the following: i will get a paper from my university since i already mentioned in the application that i will go to canada once im done with my last year.. So the paper will memtion that im a graduate and this is my last year therefore i cant cancel the visa until im done..
