Good news! ADVO requested my wife's passport on oct 8th.

The full process from initial application to passport request is < 7 months if all your documents are in good order.

Atleast that was the case for me

Same for me, less than 7 months total. And passport was received in exactly one week (including mail time).

Congrats yr97 on the PPR, good luck in Canada. I have a question for you, When did the Medical received appeared on the Ecas? was on the same time when the status changed to In Process, or later? if later was it near the end? (maybe with DM?)

Hello Everyone,

Working on my immigration application, i called one of the clinic today in Dubai for medical test, they said you need to have UCI number so that once test is done they will upload my test result online (UCI number we get only after application submission). However, I have noticed that many people have done upfront medical and submitted along with application? Pls suggest as to how you guys have done it. Thanks

Hi, I did my medical test at Health Bay Clinic on JUmeirah Beach Road in Dubai, DR. Rita. They were very efficient and did not ask me for UCI since I am applying as spouse sponsorship. Their tel is 04-3487140.

I'm the sponsor, and my wife is the one who got the PPR. I am already in Canada. The medical received appeared as soon as we had access to eCas, right after we got the AOR for the sponsorship application (stage one).
