I would suggest that you send your passport through VFS (Wafi Mall). That is the preferred method.
I submitted mine and received it back within a week. Their service charge is around 160 AED.

I got PPR today from LVO to submit my passport to Abu Dhabi VO . Can any body guide me the procedure and if there are any fee which we have to pay with passport?? thanks

Azlan you are working in UAE? if yes, LVO or ADVO ask you to cancel UAE residency before submit the PP for visa stamping?

and for PP submission you can use VFS canada.

You can land in canada without your wife. Her presence isn't modatary .
