It's best to ask your questions on the forum rather than by PM so you get an answer quickly and others with the same question get information.

Regarding the UCI, if one has never applied for a visa before (including temporary one) you leave the UCI field blank as one will be assigned to you after CIC receives the application. If you have applied previously for a visa of any kind, then you would use the same UCI number that was given to you then. Hopefully this helps

I received my passport back with stamp along with COPR documents!!

so in Glance my time line here is

Application filed - July 4
sponsor approval -September 5th
File transfer - September 20th
Passport request - November 10th
Passport back - November 25th.

almost total processing time within 5 months !!! Thank god !!! i wish all of you will get PPR!

Congrats. When did u submit your passport for visa stamping and how long does it normaly take?

I didn't have to send my passport in as I'm visa-exempt (UK passport holder). I had to send in two photographs and a passport copy.
I sent these my express post on the 13th and I received them on the 24th (they were actually ready for delivery on the 23rd by the mail lad screwed up), so in my case 10 days including transit times. As I'm now in Canada I sent mine to Ottawa.
