I sent my Police clearance certificate day before yesterday and got confirmation from the courier company that they received it yesterday. I wonder what next for me?

I have also been asked for some documents that I had already sent and I am still confused as to why they asked for them again. Especially the IMM5669-Schedule A form. I filled out all the questions and put "NONE" where necessary. Can someone help?

For the other form they sent to fill out..did u get the request for that too? If yes then what did u write in that question where they have asked for * preprations that u have done since u and ur sponsor applied* im confused as what to respond to that

that's good at least you hear from them. that means they are working on your papers. btw, have you already submitted these documents when you sent it to CIC for initial approval? wonder why they are asking for it again.

Yes I sent the background declaration form with the initial package :s I dont know why they have asked for it again..I dont see any question that I missed out...confused

Are you referencing to the Part III forms in the Application Package - IMM 3911 E ? I was told to fill that out later, when ADVO requests it.

But, if you are referencing to IMM 5669 which is a part of the Applicants Form - then yes it is a little tricky especially questions 7 and 8

If you take a look at the guideline http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/3999Etoc.asp#3999E4 - it mentions under the Schedule A – Background/Declaration (IMM 5669) -

"Provide the details of your personal history since the age of 18, or the past 10 years, whichever is most recent.

Start with the most recent information. Under “Activity”, write your occupation or job title if you were working. If you were not working, provide information on what you were doing (for example: unemployed, studying, travelling, retired, in detention, etc.). If you were outside your country of nationality, indicate your status in that country.

Note: Please ensure that you do not leave any gaps in time.

Important information. Failure to account for all time periods will result in a delay in the processing of your application."

This file is with the visa officer in queue for review. After review, the next steps in this application will be determined. Until then, we will not be able to provide any additional information on this case.

I would presume that , once they review your document and determine everything is good, they may ask for additional documents or inquire if an interview is required. Additional documents may include

- Additional Proof of Relationship
- Proof that your sponsor is still in Canada and etc.

If they do not need any other documents from you - then most likely is your medical update and if required interview, then Passport Request.

When did you do your medicals?

As per the timeline of previous applicants and their updates on the forum, the PR visa is normally issued within the expiry of the medicals in case the medicals is submitted upfront. But then again, every application is different, reviewed by different Visa Officers and is treated on a case to case basis.

I got a 2nd additional documents request in July. My first one was in Jan. So it is not guaranteed that they will only ask you additional documents once in the whole process. And once you send the documents they have requested, your file goes in a queue and nobody knows how long it will be before they review your file again. It could be 1 months, could be 6 months. You can never say. I have been waiting for the last 10 months now, not knowing what everyday will bring...So be patient. You will hear from them when they have an update for you.

The medical was done before my file was submitted
