Thats good ZZW, at least you have reached the next stage. Now its time to prepare all the requested documents and send it to them as soon as you can.

I sent my Police clearance certificate day before yesterday and got confirmation from the courier company that they received it yesterday. I wonder what next for me?

I saw on your timeline that it's almost 9 months since you applied. at what stage are you at the moment?

I have also been asked for some documents that I had already sent and I am still confused as to why they asked for them again. Especially the IMM5669-Schedule A form. I filled out all the questions and put "NONE" where necessary. Can someone help?

Thanks

I got AOR2 and 21st additional documents request in Jan this year. Then I got 2nd additional documents request on July 15th and just managed to send them day before yesterday. My medicals expire in the next few weeks so I think they will send me a request to them again and I hope soon after that will be PPR. Just waiting...

Hello CanAbroad,

As per the ADR received by ZZW, they have clearly mentioned the following:

If you have already submitted a Schedule 1 or Schedule A Background/Declaration Form in your initial application, you are being required to submit a new one because you either have not accurately answered all the questions or did not answer 1 or more questions. ALL questions must be answered and must be answered truthfully and must be up-to-date. Do not use general words such as "employee", "working", "manager". Probably you would have missed out something in your initial form. May I ask what else you were asked to submit?

Do you come under the Abu Dhabi Visa Office?

Yea I received the additional docs request in march along with my acknowledgment from abu Dhabi visa office, I heared nothing back from them until now. Ecas is full of crap (sorry for my language but I really miss my husband and I don't even know if I should visit him, what if they give him the visa and then I will have to spend tons of more money) why don't they at least update us to sooth our hearts n soul. I'm so restless I'm going insane right now

Hello safa.umair,

Things are hard for now - but will get better soon ( God Willing ); we all just have to hang in tight for a few more months and in no time, we shall all be re united.

Anyone here who applied in Mar/Apr 2014, got any correspondence from ADVO ? We should be hearing from them by now ...

Nothing new on my end either, I'm starting to worry a little looking at everyone's timeline slipping a little.

My personal experience is that whenever you send any query to CIC ( ADVO ), the case seems to move further with some information from CIC. Someone must try this out for re-confirmation.

Do you suggest email or regular mail?

I shall give them - till end of August to hear from ADVO , then I shall start to bombard them with Query ;D

Can someone tell me what the next steps usually are?

I would presume that , once they review your document and determine everything is good, they may ask for additional documents or inquire if an interview is required. Additional documents may include

- Additional Proof of Relationship
- Proof that your sponsor is still in Canada and etc.
