Do you any idea po kong kailan nila ibabalik passport?same kc kayo nang anak ko passport request din po sya.

In my case, it took 8 working days upon release from VAC to VFS.

8 working days ang release ng passport from VAC to VFS, in my case.

After a week from PPR, you will receive an email informing you about the update of your mycic account.

hope you can give some advice please... are there cases when someone's already with PPR/VOH but cannot travel on the travel date/visa validity specified by CIC? saw cases when cic gave the applicants just a few weeks/days to fly to Canada. What if we have work and we cannot resign immediately? Normally there should be at least 1 month notice when you resign from work.

Can we ask for extension of the visa or request ahead during PPR?

Based on the CIC website, it is 13months for the Philippines. Based on the trends, it is less than 13months, approximately 6-8months. We are May2016 applicant, submitted our passport already, and just waiting for our visa. As of today, we are still less than 6months processing.

No one can tell kung kelan matatapos app nyo. If you really want to track the progress, you can order GCMS notes from time to time.

Same issue with my brother in law, what he did, he took a month holiday from work. He left to Canada before the visa expires, then he completed the immigration formalities while in Canada. He also looked after his SIN number and applied for medical care card. After everything else, he talked to the immigration to notify them of his intention to go back to Philippines to take care of unfinished business. Don't worry...they're lenient in Canada as long as you notify them ahead of time.

No idea to be honest... Today ko lng n submit yung passport ko sa vfs

alam mo umalis ako pinas noon paalam ko 1month vacation going here in doha. Tapos after a month nagresign ako from here. Then galit sympre boss ko.Pinagprayan ko na lang. Then we settled na itrain ko via skype un mga ksamahan ko as I am the lead that time. When I went back in pinas, 2013 I got backpay and certificate of employment.So pagprayan mo dear

Hello po..Mister po ako ni Jungjung, gusto ko lang pong makipapel sa usapan dito at para ring magsilbing tulong sa mga nagbabasa dito sa forum na nagnanais na makarating sa Canada. Mayforever, I don't have any clue whatsoever your situation at this moment and from what i understand you have to make a really tough choice. Firstly, unless you really have a concrete case to support your request for extention, they won't grant you that. Upon saying that, not unless you want to go back to Philippines and look for work in the future, you don't have to worry about getting an exemplary record of employment because that employment record is almost irrelevant here. Kasi ang tinitingnan ng mga employer dito ay kung may Canadian training ka, and that would be my second advice sa mga darating ditong new immigrants...DON'T HESITATE TO GET CANADIAN TRAINING to be more competitive finding work. Not unless okay lang sa inyong magpunas ng mesa sa food court sa mall, dapat mag-aral para hindi apihin ng ibang lahi.

Para sa mga darating dito, you won't regret it...malungkot sa simula pero masasanay rin kayo. Lahat maganda especially ang education at health care system. SALAMAT PO!
