Can someone please help me?

I'm just a little bit confuse with my AOR 2 email.
this is what it says: |

2. Valid police certificates from all countries where you and any family member age 18 and over have resided for 6 months or more. Police certificates which are not in English or French must be accompanied by a certified translation. For country-specific instructions, go to website...
To ensure the timely processing of your application, the required information/documents must be provided to us within THIRTY (30) days of the date of this letter.

My husband had a 2 years contract in Saudi Arabia, which he finished. I also sent his work certificate of being a good worker from the company he worked at with the whole applications.

I checked the website( CIC.GC.CA) on how to get a police clearance from Saudi Arabia if he doesn't live there anymore and this is what it says;

If you do not have current legal residence status in Saudi Arabia, you are not required to provide a Saudi Arabian police certificate. If you are asked for a police certificate from Saudi Arabia, write: “I cannot provide a police certificate for the time I spent in Saudi Arabia because certificates are only available to people who have current legal residence status.”

Should I just ignore what my AOR2 email is asking and assumed that manila office knows that I cannot provide police certificate if he doesn't live there anymore?

It might cause delay and possible refusal of your application if you ignore the said request. You must reply and write them the above quoted statement.

Hi! My husband is an ex-OFW in Saudi. What we did is just wrote a letter quoting that statement from CIC site.

Anyone who still put their name on upper left corner of each page for all Documentary Evidence or Proof of Relationship? Just the same when you have to have a separate sheet that is to be attached to a certain form when you need more space to explain your answer.

That's what I did in all my "other documents" (not CIC forms or official documents) - primary applicant name and sponsor name.

You mean both your names and only for that set of documents? i.e.:

ABC (Principal)
CBA (Sponsor)
Documentary Evidence and/or Proof of Relationship

Or, sponsor first then PA or it does not matter whose name first?

I emailed manila visa office earlier and told them the above statement from the website.

I can't remember whose name came first but I don't think that's a big deal. I just wanted to put names in everything that came from me ( all pages BUT not forms or official documents) because I read somewhere that just in case, they misplace a page OR drop it, at least it has a reference. This is not required. I just prefer it that way.

Google how to get Police certificate from Saudi Arabia, cause I lived in The Netherlands as well and even I'm not living there anymore I still got them, they sent it via mail and I paid for it, maybe it's like that as well in the Middle East. Google and try, don't ignore them, it might cause a refusal of your application. Best of luck
