Hubby received a call from CEM today. He's asked to go to cem on thurs for his visa. They also asked if he can leave before May 29 (expiration of meds and validity of visa). Ecas still says in process. No email/ mail for ppr. they said to go in the morning so he can have his visa attached to his passport by the end of the day. Anyone had this before?

# just few realization I learned today, CEM prioritized those with medicals near to expire, and they doesnt matter if your application was received or processed first.
# medicals validity is equal or the same of visa validity
# the early the medicals u had, the more priority

Not sure if visa depends on visa validity , that's would make sense though which makes me think that's not how they do things for sure then. Not much makes sense in any part of the process , seems to more depend on the officer who handles file. Another day and no visa shows up for us ... For those who are starting to get DM's good luck and wish you a speedy visa

I received the same call from CEM today but of course it was very early in the morning here, They wanted to know how to get in touch with my wife since she is visiting her family in the Philippines. Gave the VO her number and my wife txt me after. She has an appointment this Thursday for CEM to have her Visa package issued.

Hello friends, hope you could help me verify this information. My husband will be sponsoring me for a spousal visa to Canada. We do not have any child yet. In the application package, it is stated that I include 9 recent photos of each of my family members (accompanying and non accompanying). Are they pertaining to my parents and siblings even though they are not being sponsored? I am estranged from one of my sisters so I am quite worried that this requirement will be difficult to produce for me. Anyone who could shed some light to this issue?

They are pertaining to just yourself and any children you may have in your case if any.
