hi everyone! I am an august 2014 applicant. I received ppr March 6, sent appendix a and passport march 10. right now, i am waiting for our visa to arrive. E-cas changed to DM March 30. How long usually visa will arrive? thanks

the passport is sent back with the visa, I expected visa last week but it didn't show up. everything was finalized march 20, and they said visa packages would be shipped shortly.
hopefully this week , as I'm in phills end of next week and want to bring my wife back with me to Canada

Hi mind if ask how they notified you that a DM was made and you'll get you visa via courier?

I got fed up with waiting as it could take a year or more so I called my MP, small towns are great.
he contacted them and a Couple days later his office forwarded me the embassy reply via email
that everything was finalized and approved and visa package would be shipped shortly.
I never received any updates on ECAS just said application received.
one day after he forwarded me the email then the status on ECAS finally changed to DM.
I contacted the embassy last week again as I had not received visa yet... they said it will be shipped....
I'll contact them again next week if I have not received it....

Hi just a quick question, Did CEM contact you which courier they shipped your passport? after DM, how long did you wait before you received your passport with visa?
How would you know if you passport was shipped already?

Your reply will help us alot. I got DM last week, i dont know when will CEM will sent back my passport and which courier they will use.

The embassy emailed me and said they ship DHL courier. Seems it takes 1week to 1 month to get visa back with passport

thanks, did you ask cem which carrier they used to ship your passport or they just automatically informed you that your passport was shipped via dhl?

visa and passport will be shipped back together, all in 1 package
they seem to use DHL courier for sending packages

Hello to all, waiting for their visas or application results, i would like to share that my application for wife was from October 2013. As of this writing it is now April 6, 2015 and there is a good news. As far as i am concern i believe that my wife's application would move, the last time the passports and other documents was forwarded to Canadian Embassy , Manila in July 8, 2014. So i was expecting that probably a re-medical would be sent probably on December or January. But when i am visiting the e-account to see the developments, changes on the processing days in Manila keeps on increasing.

Since i do believe that even with the increased number of days of processing in Manila, i believe that it wont be too long and we will get the visa. So i went to Philippines and had a vacation on the belief that the period January, February, March would see some results and probably i can fetched my wife. But since my ticket is only up to March 18/ i had to go back to Canada but what happened, in March 4/ 2015 we received a letter from the Canadian Embassy asking for the medical of 2014 which was not received ( actually there was no request then) . So my wife had her re-medical and it was submitted to St. Luke , Manila on March 20, 2015. . The St. Luke staff said that results will be send to Canadian Embassy, Manila on the 1st week of April , so given this situation i presume visa will be coming April maybe last week.. thanks God..

Hi I'm glad to hear your application is moving. I am also still waiting for my husband's application to be approved. We applied in July of 2013. He got a re-medical request about a month ago and still no word yet from Manila but I'm thinking maybe soon!! I hope. Plus we have our local MP contacting Manila for us now which I think is helping. His application was finally changed to "in process" just on March 9th.

Hi, may news nb sa file nyo? Same kasi tau na application received parin sa ecas kahit PPR na since March 9 and until now wala parin balita. September applicant ako.

May dahilan ba na ma refuse ang application after PPR ? Or nagka kumplikado sa divorce papers?

Sino po ba dito ang may asawa na divorce bago kayo ikasal? For example, the divorce is done by December 2014 and got married on January 2015? Saan po ba dito ang kumplikado kung matagal na nagkakilala pero bago lang naasikaso ang divorce papers at provided naman lahat nang proofs sa relationship?
Kailangan po ba may gap sa months mula pagka divorce saka papakasal uli?

Any opinion pls?

Hi everyone! So good to read most of you guys received DM or PPR.I'm an August 2014 applicant.the last update we received from Manila embassy was them asking for my clearance in SIngapore last November and since then we never heard anything from them, we are not even sure whether they received the clearance or not. Me and my husband are worried. My medical will expire this July. Just want to ask whether there are any OFWs here also waiting for their visas? Im really hoping i won't have to undergo another medical exam. I'm hoping for everyone to receive more good news in the days ahead. God bless everyone

I'm also OFW and August 2014 applicant. Same with you my medical will be expired on July, hoping my ecas status will change to DM. Last January I got my PPR and they required me additional docs Saudi Police clearance. Today, my status in Ecas is "In process"...

1. We received your application for permanent residence on August 19, 2014.

2. We started processing your application on January 28, 2015.

I am still waiting for my visa too. DM STATUS na ECAS last August 1, 2015.
