hi. who else are May 2014 applicants here?
I am checking my Ecas daily , still in process status for 6 months. and passport is in Embassy for 7 months.

happywife hi, Are you ex OFW? are ex OFW took longer time for processing?

hi! usually waiting for visa to be released will not take any longer. did you check from your courier if embassy received your passport already? i think its ok to inquire re: visa release. 7 months waiting is too long already.

Hello, its been a while since we have submitted my application.

My concern now is when will i received my Visa.

Here is my timeline.


App. Filed.......: 29-01-2014
AOR Received.: 27-03-2014
File Transfer...: 03-04-2014
Med's Request: 06-06-2013
Med's Done....: 03-12-2014
Interview........: waived
Passport Req..: 03-03-2015
Passport sent and remedical: March 15, 2015

another question. how sure are wee that we will not gonna have interview? Please enligthen me. as you can see. its been 14 months already that ive been waiting. huhuhuhu

oh and by the way i had in-process first , last feb. 28 2015 then PPR on march 3, 2015. will that mean something?

Hi. If I may ask, which country was your husband unable to initially get a criminal record from?

Hi, It wasn't that he wasn't able to get a criminal record check from the country (USA) but in his country specific application form (Japan specific instructions), it did not mention that he needed a criminal record check from EVERY country that he has lived in so he did not initially include it in the application. His application instructions just had a link to CIC's main page in the section on criminal record checks so we assumed he only needed a criminal record check from Japan, his home country. It was laziness on our part for not searching more thoroughly but also not very clear on CIC's part. Other country's instructions are much clearer in that section.

Hi, my husband did his re-med but there has been no change in e-cas about the new medical results. It still says "Medical results have been received". And that has been there since even before his application went to "in process". I don't know if they will update it. I am just crossing my fingers that he is almost done. We've already waited 20 months.

Re-meds are not posted in e-cas...
The results are sent to Manila Visa Office
and they just update the validity of Visa,
but it is a good sign when they ask for re-meds...
Yes, your husband is almost done...
He probably will joining you in Canada this summer.

don't worry, your not alone... same din tau ppr request january 8,.. Then after that ngupdate cla sa ecas: We started your application on January 28, 2015.. Till today "In process" pa din ang status

Bat ganon yung sakin

Pero nasa embassy na yung passport ko. Ano kayang status nun? And ilang months kaya bago ito maibalik sakin?

up front medical ka ba? ako din nasa embassy na passport ko since January 25... Natagalan ako kc kumuha ulet aq ng Police Clearance dito sa Saudi at NBI Certificate, nirequired ulet sa akin... Ang susunod na hihintayin natin pag Decision Made.. Hopefully this April mgchange na status natin sa ecas...

Hello,congratulations .tanung ko lang po,nag.email ba ang cem sayu Kung kaila visa validity ng sayu? Kasi nag.email sila ng visa validity tas dm na run po last march 20.galing naman ng sayu kasi visa on hand kana after visa issued within 8 days.8 days for us ay Saturday,so hoping visa on hand na rin kami tom .asan ba sa inyu?baka kasi Dependi sa place ang pagbalik ng visa..thank you in advance

Nalaman namin yung Visa Validity nung nag send sila ng PPR. nung natanggap namin yung Visa don lang namin
nalaman yung Visa Issued iba iba din talaga ng case kung kelan nila ni rerelease yung passport with Visa.
