Congratulations pala. Yes po, guidance counselling lang then youre good to go for cfo sticker, may friend po ako kakaalis lang, she said may CFO kiosk sa NAIA terminal 3 at 5 minutes she's done.

Ito po dadalhin niyo for the cfo sticker:
ü Original and photocopy of passport;

ü Original and photocopy of visa;

ü One (1) passport-size photograph or one (1) two by two (2x2) ID picture;

ü One (1) valid identification card with photograph;

ü Original at photocopy of Confirmation of Permanent Residence (if Canada-bound emigrants);

ü Photocopy of Immigrant Data Summary (if USA-bound emigrants); and

ü Duly completed registration form.

I am checking my Ecas daily , still in process status for 6 months. and passport is in Embassy for 7 months.

Wow! That's a long wait ..have you tried to contact cem?actually they don't change ecas most of the time or most to applicants and it's not accurate as well, it will just makes you frustrate ...try checking your mails .

Oh no,I am not ex ofw ,this soon be my first time travelling abroad with my husband together,going home to canada. and live there

Ask ko lang, SOP po ba ng CPC-Mississauga na magsend ng "acknowledgement of receipt" notification once na makuha nila ang application kit (spousal sponsorship)? If yes, how long does it usually take?

We sent ours last 10 March 2015, signed and received by someone according sa FedEx tracking pero until now no email, whatsoever by CPC-Mississauga.

Automatic na po ba AOR yun once they notify you? Should we wait longer or call their office and ask? Please advise po, thank you!

Sis wala pang update. Everyday ko rin chinicheck emails naming. Antay nlng tayo. Yes tapos Na ako sa cfo seminar sis. Punta ka sa CFO website at kailangan mong magpa schedule. I suggest wait fir your passport with visa at saka ka Na mag seminar. Pagsabayin mo nlng ang seminar at registration para matatakan ng cfo sticker ang passport mo on the same day. May fb ka Ba sis? some VO notifies the applicants but in our case, we received SA and was able to track our application through e-cas using the UCI number few weeks after SA. at the moment, The CIC website was updated in March 17, 2015. Assessment of Sponsor is Working on applications received on January 19, 2015. you can keep track on the progress http://www.cic.gc.ca/English/information/times/perm-fc.asp on when theyll be working on March Applicants.
there's no need for you to call them unless you have inquiries that cant be found on their website or if there are changes with your address, number, etc.
The waiting part is really long, Welcome to the Waiting Game! Goodluck on your application too.. i Hope my reply is useful enough.

They agony of waiting is killing me too, we havent heard anything from Dec 3, 2014. Its very frustrating that few applicants after July 2014 had their PPR already.
I understand that the process were all after the genuity of the relationship but the lengthy process is causing a lot of difficulties with all the spouses wanted to be together.

I am also working abroad for many years and at present still abroad . Sa security and background check dyan tayo matatagalan compared sa mga hindi nagwork or tumira abroad. My passport has been with CEM since January. Kukunin ko rin next month kasi i need it to renew my working visa.
Sino po may experience kinuha ulit ang passport? How long did it took them to return it. Thanks.

hi! usually waiting for visa to be released will not take any longer. did you check from your courier if embassy received your passport already? i think its ok to inquire re: visa release. 7 months waiting is too long already.

Hello, its been a while since we have submitted my application.

My concern now is when will i received my Visa.

Here is my timeline.


App. Filed.......: 29-01-2014
AOR Received.: 27-03-2014
File Transfer...: 03-04-2014
Med's Request: 06-06-2013
Med's Done....: 03-12-2014
Interview........: waived
Passport Req..: 03-03-2015
Passport sent and remedical: March 15, 2015

another question. how sure are wee that we will not gonna have interview? Please enligthen me. as you can see. its been 14 months already that ive been waiting. huhuhuhu

oh and by the way i had in-process first , last feb. 28 2015 then PPR on march 3, 2015. will that mean something?
