Hello,

I'm kinda new here. I am about to sponsor my husband sa pinas. We recently got married and still waiting for our NSO certificate. So while waiting inuumpisahan n namin in mga papers and we are doing some research na rin. Can someone guide us through the process? And kelan po ba dpat sya magpa medical before submitting the application or wait for the Med referral? Pasensya na gulong gulo nko.

Thanks po sa lahat ng magrereply. Hope to hear from you guys.

Need nya na magpamedical bago magsubmit application tapos bibigyan sya kung san sya magpapamedical ng confirmation na nagpamedical sya tapos kasama yun sa isusubmit nyo. Basahin mo maigi yung guide at yung 2 checklist. Yung isa "sponsored person's checklist" tsaka yung "sponsor's checklist"

If ever he calls the clinic to make an appointment sabihin nya Upfront Medical kasi Spousal sponsorship, include the medical with your application. If wala naman syang medical issue, do your medical pag malapit na kayong magsubmit ng papers.

I did my medicals days before i mail our application to hubby to avoid re-medical if ever slow yung processing nang application, i was aware that it's valid for 1 year. Did ur hubby file an advance filing for NSO?

I did my medical at Cebu Doctors, July 28, then i mailed my forms, including medical to my conjugal spouse august 4, katatanggap nya pa lang kahapon. Same ang ginawa natin sis.

This is a reply to sharonin: "(nalulungkot ako up to now in process pa din status ng mga anak ko. di ko pa naman sila inenrol sa pilipinas since they asked for passport april. submitted it may . so akala ko by july andto na sila . di ko now alam kng aabot pa sila sa pasukan by September )"…

This is the timeline of my wife posted in ECAS sponsoring us under Live-in-Caregiver inside Canada. I hope this will help you.

We received your application for permanent residence on November 7, 2011.
We started processing your application on October 31, 2013.
Medical results have been received - May 2014
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision. - July 2014
You entered Canada at the Saskatoon office on July 29, 2014 and became a Permanent Resident.

This is my concern: Last July 28, 2014 (2 weeks waiting already) the Canadian Immigration ask us to send our Passport to Canadian Embassy Manila. It was stated in their letter that they will return our Passport w/ Visa attached after 4-6 weeks of processing so my wife is expecting us to arrive in Canada around October 2014. We are in waiting mode right now and hoping that there will be no delays because kng napansin mo since Nov. 2011 pa ung application namin.

your post is a kind of confusing... but I understand that your passport was requested on July 28... then every thing should be ready for you guys to travel
to Canada by the Month of September... they should give you a deadline for entering Canada... but I believe that the plan for October makes sense.... and I don't think
that it will be later than that... in any case...if you wish you may be able to anticipate for September in the best of the cases...
