im guessing... the VO's probably went back to Canada.. for holidays.. got stranded due to the polar vortex that is happening right now across the country.. OR..CEM is investigating people who are using Yolanda to speed up the process and those that complained about their application being held because of Yolanda...

This is only my guess...but im sure next week. the forum will light up again.. about people getting visa's,

getting upset as to why they didn't get their visa or better yet.. questioning why someone got their visa and not them...

Been away for a little while..has there been ANY activity since last week?
Visas...*In Process..DM?

Hello sis

I had the same issue. Just send them a message through the link of the message they sent you once SA ka na. Your first name wont really matter sa E-CAS but just to be sure, send them an email. Sa amin nga nagkamali sila ng last name. I emailed them and it still took 8 weeks before na-update sa E-CAS. Hope this helps. :)

Won't be an issue..they SHOULD use the correct spelling for your Visa and COPR from your passport which CEM will have eventually

Hi Everyone!
My wife and I would like to sponsor her both parents, right now our Family size is 5 (me, my wife, baby + parents) and this is our case:
I came here in Edmonton June 2010, then got work July 2010. CIC wants 3 preceding tax years on their latest form, that is 2010, 2011 & 2012. I will be her co-signee to meet the MNI, but since I have only half of 2010 taxed we only got less of the LICO (around $47K that time we're just 2). Our Tax years for 2011 to 2013 meet and exceeds the LICO for the Family size of 5, but we still don't have the NOA for 2013 to submit it this January 2014 (to make with 5000 cap). We have asked our employers for ROA stating what we've earned for 2013 period.
I know technically we are qualified but since we don't have the NOA for 2013 makes me confused to proceed on submitting our application because of the 2010 issue. Should I proceed? or wait for 2013 NOA and submit it by 2015?
Please advise me. Thanks & regards to all.

eto mga dinala ko nung nag CFO ako sis:

-NSO BC, MC
-NBI clearance
-4 pcs 2x2 picture
-birth cert ni husband
-photocopy of legal capacity to marry (if meron),if your husband is divorced dalhin mo yung photocopy ng divorced certificate nya
-photocopy of husband's passport (profile page)
-photocopy of husband's entry/exit stamps sa mga visits nya dito
-pictures namin together, especially wedding pics, honeymoon pics

of course your VISA with COPR, dapat alam mo rin yung work nya, kung saan xa nag wowork, address nya, contact number, names ng parents at adress nila etc. yun yung mga dapat mong i-fill-up sa form nila..

(nag renew kasi ako ng passport kasi married name na gagamitin ko and i need to attend CFO seminar muna kasi kelangan ng DFA yung photocopy ng CFO certificate para sa mga foreigner yung spouse)

hope that helps :D :)

wow that's a lot! wala to sa mga req. sa website ah! about the NBI, i still have the personal copy of my NBI clearance that i sent during my application, is this ok na? or i need to get another one? if i need to get another one, then it'll sucks! coz grabi ang pila sa NBI. :-[

with the entry/exit stamps you mean lahat? e halos every 3 months ata pumupunta husband ko dito eh, like now he was here last october and december till jan, kakabalik lng nya, he is even not yet in canada kasi na stranded pa flight nya sa chicago because of the snow storm. sp lahat ng stamps nya? andami nun! haha

Sana nga...dumating na hinihintay natin..

Well in my case po nung ng attend ako ng Counselling, hindi ako nagdala ng pics but I have pics saved in my cellphone kaya yun ang tinignan ng facilitator. Also, they will randomly ask you questions like when and how did ur husband proposed, yung wedding anniversary niyo, birthday ng spouse and even how you first met at ilang taon na kayo or when siya umalis or nag migrate sa Canada.

And basic requirements ay yung MC, BC, 2 valid IDs and ID pics (4 pcs na pssport size ata) ska mga photocopies din nun documents and hinihingi din yung NBi if kulang ang valid IDs.

ayun po.

:) :) :)

clarification please:

My current application is "in Process" and I understand that the average processing time is indicated in the website depending on the visa office. I know that the processing time is 14 months in our case. My question is the reckoning date for the 14 months. Is it from the time when the CIC says it received the application (which is Nov 2012), or the time the Manila visa office receives the application from CIC Mississauga (which is March 2013)?

Also, if the reckoning date is Nov. 2012, do we add the 28 days sponsorship approval for myself to the 14 months (i.e. 28 days + 14 months), or is this included in the 14 months?

Well its up to you if lahatin mo.. basta yung sakin nag provide lng ako just in case hanapin nila but nung nag one on one interview with the counselor hindi naman tiningnan...
