Hi everyone,

I sponsored my husband, and I checked at ECAs, noticed that my first name was misspelled. Will this delay the processing of my husband's application? His file is already transferred to the VO last OCT/NOV 2013. Pls advise me on what to do. Thanks!

Hello sis

I had the same issue. Just send them a message through the link of the message they sent you once SA ka na. Your first name wont really matter sa E-CAS but just to be sure, send them an email. Sa amin nga nagkamali sila ng last name. I emailed them and it still took 8 weeks before na-update sa E-CAS. Hope this helps. :)

thank you sa mga reply. I'll email the CEM regarding my soon expiring Medical.

the embassy is also experiencing a deep arctic freeze in applications.

For those who are waiting for their visa I am the sponsor with a permanent residence card. What does my husband needs a PDOS or Counselling?

I think PDOS lang ang need, but if the sponsor is is already a citizen they need to attend both :)

once your husband get's a visa, he will have to attend PDOS so he can get that stamped from DFA..

You can do that also.. its just he just needs to return back to get that stamped. as soon as he receives the visa..

my wife attended PDOs before receiving her visa.
