The CLOAK that covers my ECAS status was just lifted today... the last time the cloak was taken out was when the sponsorship approval was granted. I was wondering if anyone has gone through the same thing with their ECAS and how many days did their status changed to ask for PPR or decision made for denial.??????????????

Wala naba sis? I think 3 pa lng tga April nagka PPR, or maybe hindi lng nag uupdate yung iba..
Sana nga May applicants na magka PPR..

No it didn't change to in process.. I got approved as a sponsor in may of 2013 so I'm hoping they will give my wife an email next week or at least updated our status ONLINE.

Hopefully someone answers my question. or if someone has experienced this uncloaking...

In my case, since I got my "decision made" for the sponsorship side in February until now, my ECAS hasnt really changed. It kept showing "application received" on the sponsorship side. It will not even change when you get your PPR. I got my PPR back in July. Im also curious to hear from other ppl who has been through the whole cycle. Now, I am curious how long it would take from "in process" to "decision made"

Mine just changed to in process on the 24th of October.

We received our PPR request in August as well as requests for additional docs and security clearances with no change in e-cas at that time.

We sent in all the other docs but I believe they would have just received our Singapore clearance last week and then changed it to in process now that all the paperwork is there. Of least i hope they got the clearance

Ours still says application received and decision made.. both pertaining to the sponsorship approval decision and not the PPR.. Pauluz when you got the PPR, did your ECAS un cloaked it self.. or were you always free to check your status online ?

Hi Ikon, I was always able to check it from the very beginning. At one point I thought it was "cloaked" but it was my carelessness more than anything else; I flipped my bday day and month and it wont let me log in. But after I figured that out, never had any problems with ECAS other than the unchanging info.
