I dont think so, My hubby and I got married last january 2013.He then submitted our apps in june.....now we are waiting for my PPR..

tried to check my ecas and the status "application received" from january... just changed today to "in process" I guess they are starting to work now?
I hope hindi tumagal ang "in process" status na yan at mag "decision made" na agad. hehe!

can anyone give their opinion regarding my brother in law applying for tourist visa

i know its out of the topic on this forum, but i really need your thoughts..

Question:

We are planning to apply my brother in law Tourist visa, but we know he will not be granted for he doesnt have work in the philippines nor have own bank account .. So what others suggested is that bring my son back home and my brother in law will be the one to accompany my son back to canada..

do you think this reason will be enough for him to be grant visitors visa?? thnx

Question: Do we need to be married for 6months to apply for sponsorship? or can we apply even if we are newly wed? My husband is a PR last 2012 and we got married only this year, am i legible for sponsorship? Help please.

My husband and I got married in March and I filled his app in July so I don't think there is a timeline really to apply. Now I don't know if the case is the same kapag Permanent Resident Status or Canadian Status.

I got the approval as a sponsor nung August. I hope that helps!

No, I still don't think that will be enough reason to be granted a visitors visa ... it's very important that you show them that you are capable to support your stay in Canada as well as show strong ties that will sort of guarantee you will come back to the Philippines and not over stay. Sad to say show money does matter to get a visitor's visa.

In process status na din sa wakas after 10 years.LOL Now, after remedical clueless na naman kung kelan lalabas visa. Pero I know malapit na malapit ko na makasama ang junakis ko! Happy waiting sa lahat, keep the faith alive! ;D
