they call it police clearance/certificate, but if you're a Philippine resident, you get the NBI clearance [purpose: Canada Visa]

hello po.. gusto ko lang po magtanong regarding police certificate.. i worked in china before... so kailangan ko po kumuha ng police certificate... sa Sanya po ako nag work sa china which is not part of mainland... wala na po ako kakilala para mahingan ng favor para kumuha ng police cert on my behalf.. what is my best alternative.. kasi po talagang hindi nag iissue ang china ng police certificate dito sa embassy s manila.. at ang hirap nmn pong mag apply ng visa papuntang china sa ngayon at napakagastos din po.

Yes.

How and where do I obtain one?

Local Requests
Applicants should apply in person and pay applicable fees at the local National Bureau of Investigation (NBI). Fingerprints and photographs will be taken at the time of application. The certificate must have a thumbprint and include a dry seal.

Non-Resident Requests
Applicants can apply to the nearest Philippine embassy or consulate. The application must include a full set of fingerprints taken and certified by the recognized police or law enforcement agency of the applicant’s place of residence, with two black-and-white photographs (2x2 in.). Alternatively, applicants may apply directly to the National Bureau of Investigation head office at:

Hi sis, sorry for the late reply ha...Ng asikaso kasi ako ng pg pa red ribbon ng docs ko para di na ako uwi rito just for that in case mg work ako dun...

By the way, Monday pa lang ako tawag sa IOM kasi I still have my period too...Ayusin ko na muna lahat ng papers namin para ma encode ko na next week tapos after the medical maipadala ko na kay husband para makabayad na xa...

Sana mgkita tau sa IOM...me fb ka add din kita...

Ask ko nga pala kung mg include ng joint accounts mgkano ba dapat na minimum amount dun?Do we need to have it anyway?

Naku parehas po pla tayo c hubby din nsa canada na 12days after wedding bumalik na sya.hehe. yes po my fb account ako. Need ko p po ba pm sainyo?hehe paano? Oo nga po, sana magkasabay tayo sa medical hehe. Para masaya at more kwentuhan pa.June 13 po ako naka sked, 7:30 am.

About po sa joint accounts, pwede naman po siya iinclude sabi sa form/ checklist kasi additional supporting documents sya for you and your spouse.Wala naman pong required amount ng cash in bank. As long as naka reflect sa bank certificate yung name nyo pong 2 ni husband, okay na un.
Ako what i did po, nilipat ko muna lahat ung funds ko sa isang account ko to our joint account tapos withraw/ deposit ko uli pagkakuha ng bank cert. Hehehe.

ok na po siguro yan.for supporting docs lang naman po, accept nmn na siguro nila yun. ako nga po ang nilagay ng bank visa application.

Agree. Required po. Lahat ng clearances na applicable dapat daw isubmit. In fact sa country specific checklist ng requirements ng immigrant ang nakalagay ay police clearance, not NBI.
