Finally! Visa received today
we had our remedical Feb 20, I was asked to come back for pulmonary evaluation becasu eof my asthma nung Feb 27
I emailed St Lukes March 11 if they had passed our medicals sa embassy na.
March 12 they replied that they already forwarded it nung day na yun (march 12)
Our visas were released March 20

Congrats annerella,. Mabuti mabilis mo narin nareceive ang visa mo,. Diba feb 20 ka nag pa remed same tayo tenest din about sa hepa naiinis ako sa st.lukes kahit lage namin tinatawagan ang tagal nila nafoward sa embassy feb 21 ako remed then naforward nila march 18 kung dipa ako mangiyak ngiyak dipa nila ifoforward! Sabi nila call nalang ulit nang march 22 kaya nainis ako kc 1month na kung dipa nila maforward kaya daw natagalan kc sa result daw nang hepa. Pero nong araw ding yun nang tumawag ako (march 18) naiforward din nila kc tinawagan ko ulit sila kinabukasan! Eh ang VO namin mag ina sa ottawa pa! Kaya diko rin alam kung kailan naman maiforward nang CEM yung meds namin sa ottawa. Anyway napakwento nako congrats again anne have a safe trip and good luck! GOD BLESS U...

This is great news! I was wondering if St.Lukes has finally implemented the E-Medical. Because people under the old system seem to wait 3 months, where you were less than a month. I'm wondering if they did indeed email your medical results, instead of snail mail? And if so, are all the qualifying doctors offices in the Philippines set up the same now, or would it be better to travel to St Lukes?
This is all just speculation.. but I would be curious to see what anybody has to say. If approved we're due for another medical, and I would rather have him fly to St Lukes if that's what it takes to get it done quickly.

You mean to email St Luke's about it? That would be a good idea.. I would imagine they're the biggest, most advanced medical facility, right? I just wonder if they actually have emedical implemented in the provinces. If it's a difference of 2 months, there will be a flight to Manila for sure
I am certain that the CEM won't ask us for a re-medical until they are satisfied that they will grant our visa. It's generally the last request, especially after an interview. I feel that the day they request the medical we can have a big party 8)

Hi Crisracs, pwede kayong mag walk-in sa St. Lukes Medical Center Clinic; Sabihin nyo lang na Medical Examination for Canada Visa Application. After ng Medical, ibabalik sa inyo yung completed Form 1017, yun ang ipadala nyo sa CEM. Then yung results, sila na magdadala sa Canada Embassy-Manila. Document Checklist [IMM 5491] number 27 yung Medical. Hindi nyo nakita siguro yung warning sa taas ng Document Checklist [IMM 5491], may nakalagay na "If you do not enclose all the required forms and documents, your entire application will be returned to you".

Thanks Iay, we are already getting excited about it.. Planning the first things to do, see, eat! Your predictions have been good so I'm happy ) I suppose they have to mail you the medical request in person right? Not by email?
