hello po..
as per tracking,,kakadeliver lang po ng application namin sa CPC-M..
question,,makakarecieve ba ng acknowledgement yung hubby ko?thru email ba?
and how long bago siya ma-inform?

tnks a lot!
:)

Hi DsWifey,

In my case, we did not receive an acknowledgement letter. And we also did not receive the Sponsor Approval letter. Give them a call after 30 days and they will entertain you as long as you are past the estimated processing time nila na nakalagay online for sponsor approval.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-fc.asp

When I called them, they gave me my Client ID Number (UIC) which you will need when you login later to check the status online.

Best of luck.

Hi To All...ang VO pala dito sa CEM ay may filipina din...i was just expecting na Canadian

Kelan ka nagpunta dun sis? :) nainterview ka ba?

I just received my PPR request for my spouse and I have a couple of questions:

- The letter is making a request for an airline booking ticket for a confirmed flight. My spouse is already here with me in Toronto on a visitors VISA so I don't think that I need to provide a ticket. When I submit the PPR package, do I just write a note inside stating the fact that my spouse is already in Canada? Would that be sufficient?

- Once I receive my spouses passport back with the new VISA issued, where do we go so that my spouse can formally "land" in Toronto and get her papers processed?

Meaning to say their ready for issuing her VISA so soon that is why their asking for a Booking Ticket. A friend of mine had the same case as your's they lived in Scarborough together but they filled their Application Outland Process she send's also her Passport in CEM. Just send them an email to let them know about your case that you were together already and no need to buy ticket for her. But take note sending email to CEM don't forget to put your Application file number on it, it start with F000.

A friend of mine and her husband did was they drove out the Border Canada and U.S then came back just to make her COPR Confirmation of Permanent Residence form ( she will receive this as well together with her Passport w/ visa stamped) fill and sign up by the CBSA Officer so that her PR card will be granted after 1-2 months maximum. I don't know if she still need a transit visa in U.S border even though she will just pass on and go back to Canada Border.

Thanks for the response Jenifer. I emailed them already but they might not reply within 10 days so thank god for this forum :)

I'm not sure I can cross the USA border since my spouse does not have a US VISA....is there any other way besides crossing USA border?

You don't need to cross, you just go to the border office and they will do your PR landing there :)
It's called flag poling :D
