Hi To All....

Just want to share something and will seek for your advice...andito ako ulit sa forum after almost a year i think...since ang timeline ko is last July of 2011 pa...ang case ko for some who may not know is...

July 3rd week 2011 .... approval of Mississagua
August 2nd week 2011 .... submitted my Passport and additional documents with Appendix A
April 2012 .... asked for CAIPS result
June 2012 .... received letter saying that I did not meet the requirements for spouse visa
July 2012 .... submitted 18 Affidavits as a proof that I and my husband did not fall into common law
partner/conjugal (with an Atty in Winnipeg Canada)
October 2012 .... seek for help from an MP to have a detailed result since asking from our Atty cost too
much
January 2013 ... did ask help again from MP
February 8, 2012 .... received an email from CEM scheduled for an interview on March 20, 2013

.....hi sis emern, sa iyo ba nung time na ininterview ka, what are those questions they have asked you? i just want to prepare myself since i consider this as a big challenge dahil gusto ko everything will go smoothly and gusto ko ng magka visa...hirap na hirap na kami ng husband ko, and we all know ang hirap ng malayo sa asawa lalo na at wala pa kaming anak at the same time we are both getting older...

....kayo mgs sis and brothers who undergo an interview ano ung mga questions sa inyo para magka idea lang din ako...

I hope everything is gonna be alright. Nandiyan po si LORD di po niya tayo pababayaan.

The last update of processing was put up to 11 months from 9 months on dec4,2012, now on jan 16 just 5 weeks later they extended another month does that mean they did nothing since dec 4, im landing in manila on feb20 exactly 11 months from my processing time now i am not allowed to go to embassy because the waiting period has been extended to 12 months. Like i said b4 when i got married on sept 2,2011 they waiting period was only 7 months

@ tagum

on our experience hubby visited me last dec.15 til jan10 2013.At dec.22 we stop by at cem...they not let us see the vo...if u insist they gave u a number to go up and that floor was just a reception...so still useless..they really insist to have only email enquiry and they have also a paper on ground floor for inquiry also which they pick it up every 2 hours.even hubby replied ur not responding our email she told the reception (they talk in french).we been there 8 am..no seat so we just stand at the lobby talking with the sg in there while w8ting for them to pick up the paper inquiry..cause my hubby put there that we r downstairs and he wants to talk with the vo holding our application...for too much bored of w8ting and hungry also we go up and eat upstairs there r restaurants while hubby emailing them same thing he said to the paper that we r waiting downstairs...but we gone downstairs we saw the inquiry box was empty already at exactly 10am...so we still waited dowstairs till we give up around 11:30am cause we need to check out in hotel and go to cebu which i live...
so hubby was discouraged about planning to go there with nothing...cause he not ask appointment also...but im not sure if they still accept appointment unless u have interview or visa pick up.And at that time i was already on 12 months but the processing was 9 months very exceed.i hope u understand my english :)peace

Gudluck

Hi sis! Curious lang po ako why do you think CEM doubted your relationship as spousal and categorized it
As common law?
Thank you po in advance for the reply.

@mcm240906

sorry about your case, but think positive...
i did undergo interview way back in may 2011.. most of the question are in the application form which is about your relationship with your husband/wife.. from the time you meet, how, where, the details , to the engagement party in details , wedding day etc.....

but in your case you did not meet the requirements for spouse visa?? did they give any details or reason?? if you are married you will not really fall under common law!! sorry im just curious whats the reason that you did not meet the requirement!!

@ judaui
congratulations with the pregnancy..

from what i read the new processing time is 12 months, so that will be your basis.. but its not an assurance.. so you will be lucky if within 3-6 months you will have your visa, but you should be open and patience that it may take more than 12 months...

some airlines may still allow you even if your 8 or 9 months, just in case just ask your OB a letter or note that still safe for you and for the baby to fly..

think positive... :D :D
