thanks oneloveonelife... but ive also seen this post from another thread and i think it was mentioned there that these codes are for CAIPS and not GCMS.. or the other way around.. waaahh confused ! even then i tried to
compare my notes to these codes and they dont seem to match , i mean the format and sections are different..

from what i know GCMS na ang tawag sa CAIPS ngayon.. kaya malamang may mga changes sa codes.. or may mga new codes na ngayon na naidagdag na wala dyan sa list..

i also have a question. magkano ang service fee ng St.Raphael?

naconfuse kasi ako. sabi nila 1260 yung total ticket and i asked the CONVERSION RATE in peso para sa peso account ako magbabayad, they said its 53,298php. now, when they sent over the eticket, the total amount in peso stated is 52,178php. so i emailed them if they can clarify the discrepancy. sabi nila service nila yun. (which confused me kasi sabi nila 1260usd is EQUAL to 53,178php as per today's exchange rate) so i asked them, exactly how much in percent yung service fee nila. they havent replied pa.

i know 1200php might be small to some of you pero hindi lang kasi malinaw sa akin.

CAIPS/GCMS NOTES...

a) If you have a friend / relative in canada it would cost you just $5 and you will get that in around 30 days.

b) If you don't have a relative or friend in Canada then you can get it from websites and it would cost around $25-$40 and you will get in six to eight weeks..

Check this

a) If you have a relative / friend in Canada

As you have a relative / friend there it would cost you just $5. Its very easy. Your relative / friend will order this on your behalf and he will be the requester. It can be done by email and your relative / requester can send scan copies of everything. Your relative / friend will receive CAIPS / GCMS notes in his email.

First fill the following form but your relative / friend will sign it as he is the requester.

Then you will have to fill this consent form and sign yourself

Now according to latest IMM5563E form you can even pay fees online if you are not living in Canada and there is no need to fill any credit card form. Pay fees online, get receipt, fill it and then scan and attach with application. Its very easy. Go to section C of the following form then follow other links given below.

After payment take 2 copies of print out of receipt. Keep one copy for yourself and attach other with application.

Ask your relative to provide copy of his Canadian passport or PR card and copy of his recent bill or bank statement as a proof that he is currently living in Canada

Ask him to scan everything and send everything by email to

b) If you don't have a relative / friend in Canada

ganyan din nakalagay sa notes ng hubby ko. I think FC means Family Class. PRI-Primary Applicant.3a-Pending. Di ko lang gets ung De6Red. Anyway, kung papansinin nyo ung date kung kelan nagenerate yung info na yan, sa CPC-M pa nagenerate yun kung kelan nabuksan na nila ang file mo sa stage 1. I think yan yung mga info na nakuha nila from the Generic form....baka meron pang iba na mas nakakaalam at mas makakapagbigay linaw..based lang naman sa understanding ko ang mga nasabi ko.

actually ung samin, created date is November 11 2010 pa. tapos updated Jan 25 2011 . nakakapagtaka bakit 2010 and 2011 pa ni di pako kasal nun. hehe. so i think this refers to me (and my family's) PR application.. hindi kay hubby... hmmmmm.. posible... sana wala lang to hehehe

application received parin ang status ko. 2011 applicant po ako.

ang tagal dumating ung visa mag eexpired na ung medical ko next month hanggang nyaon wala parin. 4 months ko na nasent ug passport ko sa manila.
kita ko ko ung mga 2012 applicants meron na sila.

yes guys aug 2011 applicant po ako. april po na send ung passport ko.

@jen, ngayon ko lng napansin sa status ko eh. minsan lng kasi ako nachecheck kasi meron kami issues ng misis ko.

@crisent, next month na po august mag eexpire ung medical ko.

sana mag kakavisa na tayo ung mga 2011 applicant. ang hirap kasi ng long distance relationship. daming problema, dami ring pagbabago ng ugali.

@dadaem ilang days ba bago mo nakuha ung visa mo after ma DM? sana ma DM na. tiwala lng talaga tayo sa Panginoon meron talaga dahilan sa lahat ng pag hihintay.

btw, may kapitbahay ako dito nag apply sila ng visiting visa last feb. nasa canada na sila ngayon.

I noticed that a lot of comments said that even if the passport was already requested by the emba, it takes several months for the visa to be returned. Nanghina loob ko sa mga timeline na nabasa ko so i would just like to post this to ease the minds of some readers.

I just received a call from the embassy telling me my visa has been granted. It has just been 3 weeks after I mailed my passport. I got 2 letters. 1st one telling sponsor is eligible, after less than a month the second one came requesting some forms and my passport.

I sent my passport June 30 (Sunday).

Got the call today July 26

Will buy jacket & cassava cake tom (July 27)

Will fly on Tuesday (July 31)
