for new immigrants and 1st time to enter Canada, i would higly recommend direct flight PAL Manila- Vancouver. para less stress, less hassle and less worry pati mga kamag-anak mo.. Kinda expensive a bit compared to w/ stop over in Honk Kong.

thanks po yun din po ang gusto tlga ng father ko, yung mother ko naman dahil practical siya gusto niya ng connecting flight pra daw mas mura.hahaha pero ill go for direct flight na tlga. thanks po! sana magka visa na po talaga tayong lahat na nag aantay ngaung july, asap.

Sana nga mareceive mo na yung visa. Pero kung wala pa, ok lang naman sa travel agent na pumili ulit kayo ng ibang date. Sa St Raphael ok lang yan sa kanila. Ganun din ako dati wala pa ang visa naka book na, then rebook ulit kasi wala pa. Hanggat dika pa bayad, wala pang rebooking fees kaya ganun nalang gawin mo

sana po talaga asap na. yup st raphael din po kami naghahanap. bukas kelangan ko pa sila ulit tawagan kasi hindi naka indicate kung kelan yung deadline ng payment ko pra dun sa binook ko na aug.5 . salamat po ulit

practicality wise, yes connecting flight talaga.. pero be ready to get stressed somehow.. and worried a bit too.. ;D but its always a matter of being organized and time management.

pero sino ba naman ang ayaw mbilis na flight, convenient, comfortable at higit sa lahat ang makita agad ang asawa.. hahahaha

pgkarecieve ng visa namin bibili agad kami ng ticket our first choice before submitting the app was cathay pacific via hk kasi yun parati sinasakyan ni hubby but according sa friend ko si brianmich nice daw ang PAL naupgrade pa nga sya sa business class for free kasi fully booked na. So gagayahin ko na lang sya PAL toronto via vancouver hay sana dumating na mga visa natin I got 16 more days to go before medicals expiration kukuha na din ako ng certification ng license sa LTO para di na ako mg g1

June 2 -----DM
June 14----Emailed the CEM to follow-up. No visa received yet.
June 20----Emailed MP to ask for assistance on checking up on status.
June 20----Got a call from CEM asking for 2 passport size photos.
June 20----Sent the requested passport size photos thru their dropbox
June 29----MP replied our visa is in line for print. Suggested that we wait approx 6 weeks.( I suppose that would cover the time left before
we exceed the normal processing time. )
July 3------Received an email from CEM ( in response to my June 14 email) informing me that they are still waiting for the passport size
photos that they requested last June 20.
July 4------Sent the requested passport size photos (again) through LBC and faxed them the details.


Tomorrow would be a week since I sent the photos CEM requested and still no updates or any results. If I dont receive my passport tomorrow I would try to call DHL around late afternoon to check and if its still negative I would try to go to CEM to check. I am really praying for a positive outcome... really praying hard... wish me luck guys! goodnight

sana nga dumating na mga visa natin sana talaga. Yup kahit paano pampalubag loob yung upgrade sa kanya na yun kasi yung process of getting her visa as in sinusumpa nya ang cem. 6days before mgexpire ang medicals nya she got a phone call from cem na for pick up na daw visa nya it was a thursday sabi sa kanya she has to leave the country before the medicals expired. Magkachat pa kami nun thursday morning tapos around 30 mins after namin mgchat ngtext sya sa akin kung pwede sya dito sya tumuloy sa akin sabi ko go...from butuan bumyahe sya to manila the same day kasi nga friday nya last day makukuha visa nya. Early morning friday nasa embassy na kami tapos sabi ba naman nung cem eh sa monday na lang daw kasi da pa daw napiprint sabi nya mgeexpire na medicals ko ng tuesday gusto nyo ako makaalis before that lumuwas pa ako galing butuan, kukunin ko pa yung cfo ko how do u expect na makaland ako before tuesday? So ayun nag-agree na sila na ibibigay that day she waited for almost 2 hours ako nasa baba lang ako kasi nga mahigpit ang cem. Nung nkuha namin yung visa nya diretso kami sa prism para matatakan pp nya para kaming ngaamazing race nun hehehe. the next day at 2am she had to go back to butuan to get her things and her daugther but wala ng flight so she had to go through another province and had a 6 hour bus ride to get to her place tapos sunday evening balik na sila ulit manila tapos monday afternoon flight nila, going back to the question how they got upgraded they didn't know how 4 lang sila na upgrade basta boarding na sila nun pgpasok nila ng plane sinabihan sya na upgraded sila to business class for free. (Kaya eto ako I'm hoping na sana maawa ang cem at irelease na nila visa namin kahit 6 days before ng expiration date) Sabi ko nga di man naging maganda yung experience nya but I'll be happy to have that anytime anyday just as long as makasama ko na si hubby at masimulan na namin ang buhay namin.
