Hello! tanong lang... ikaw ba ang nsa canada? kasi kung nsa canada ka pwede ka na file ng divorce as long resident ka na ng canada for a year u don't need to file for annullment. Para mas ok na status mo.

My husband called me this morning at 10:30am canada time..
Very excited to tell me that he got his visa today.

He'll be living on November 18, 2011

Before that he needs to attend the Seminar from CFO to ge the sticker..

I'm wishing everyone to have a speedy process so we can be all reunited with our spouse.

Puwede bo bang mag tanong uli sa inyong lahat ...

Na-approved na ako as sponsor pero pag nag login ako sa ecas eh wala pa doon yung file ng asawa ko ...

Tumawag ako sa CIC sabi nila pag na transfer na daw yung file sa Manila eh hindi na daw ma-tratrack yung processing ng papers sa ecas kasi wala na daw silang access doon ...

Totoo po ba itong sinabi sa akin ng customer agent ng CIC?

yup true. kailngan mo a ngaun magintay na mareceive ng asawa mo ung PPR nya or acknowledgement letter. nandun ung UCI and Application File no. ng asawa mo. after nun, pwede mo na makita ung status ng application nya sa ecas mo at the same time, he can also check his own ecas.

usually postmail, sometimes email. usually takes about 3 weeks to 2 months

pinkmatgal na ung 2 months. ung iba ko ngaung kasabayan na july, marami sa kanila after 2 months nakuha ung PPR which is nakkaworry tlga. hopefully mapabilis lng ung pagdating ng PPR nyo. by the mean time, igather nyo na din ung mga usual docs na hinihingi, like NBI clearance and AOM para pagdating ng PPR nyo, ippsa nyo na lng.

ibig sabihin nito hinde na sila magmamadali sa pagapprove ng immigrant visa para sa family dahil pwede naman sila magpunta at magstay dun with this kind of visa. good news ba to?

people seeking multiple entry visas for parents and grandparents is a good news for the fact that the process of acquiring will be expedited.. the only catch is the duration, 24 months validity. why they don't make it 5 years.. ;D ;D

that's the bad news!!! For sure you will not have the rights and privileges of a permanent resident, like regular employment and health care. What I see here is that it will be faster to apply for PR on your own (not sponsored) if you have stayed the minimum number of years, that is, if they will allow you to work and have the benefits of the skilled labor class.
