Thanks Doljan :-[ By the way, we got an "In Process" yesterday, dated for Monday so I guess that means they got the passport and cracked open our app. If there's any other meaning to an "In-Process" as it relates to approval or possible interview I would like to hear any theories! For example, those that had interviews - did they get "in process" after? Or Before?

Great news steph!! I think it's less likely to get an interview when you get in process. One person had a poll about being in process and getting called for interview. I dunno if you can still dig it somewhere. I hope it goes DM soon :)

Any advice please?

Thanks.

Which part of Vancouver are you?? PM me. We have openings in our company, you might be interested. :)

Btw, first thing you need to learn in applying job in Canada is how to make a resume. It is a lot more different than in PH. Here, you don't need your picture height weight etc. you only need 1 maximum 2 pages to highlight your education and experience.

hello everyone.... well here I am at 181 days as of Monday....it looks like we are not going to be able to be together our 1st yr ann together... May 7/12...when we applied it was 9 months.... but who knows when....no person should be apart on their first ann apart unless its the military... the only thing I can,t understand is the CEM says they process our applications as they come in ... then why are people getting PPR after alot of us .... and if we pay in advance it will save 2 months... how do they know that until the CEM opens the application....unless Mississauga stamps PAID!!!! but I doubt that.... anyways I want to know that anyone out there that got a PPR...do I get a cc. copy also to my email address also.... I check so many times a day since I think we are so close.... all the best to people that are at 180 days !!!! what a life to live.... gortandmugs....
I FEEL FOR YOU , I KNOW HOW THAT FEELS, IM WORRIED ABOUT MISSING THE 2ND ANNIVER NOW, 388 DAYS AND COUNTING, LETS NOT FORGET THE SLEEPLESS NITES LATELY, GOING TO BED AND GETTING UP AND CHECKING THE EMAIL AND ECAS EVERY 2 HOURS. THERE IS NO SENSE CHECKING IT IN MY DAYTIME NOTHIN IS HAPPENING IN MANILA THEN. A FEW MORE DAYS OF THIS AND I WILL GO (POSTAL) HOPEFULLY THE MP WILL GET ANSWERS ON MONDAY. GOODNITE EVERYONE

Kung malls, fastfoods at restaurants....should be easy bro! Just do the old fashioned way! Go to Tim Hortons, McDo, Wendy's or the mall and ask for a Job Application Form. That's how I got my first job back in 1996! Tama yan bro, just work at any job for now! Canadians are very diverse in culture and ethnic race. They are very open minded in terms of other cultures so don't worry about not getting hired. As long as you show confidence in yourself, they will hire you! Pray and God bless you and your family! Enjoy the new life.

I agree! ;D
Dito lang sa pinas masyado maka interview! I have a friend that took training in a call center when the interview comes , she failed. Her interviewer was a Filipino, only 2 person passed for this interviewer while the other interviewer was American, many got passed!!! :P

Yeaa at least hindi 0 PPR this week. I'm pretty sure there's more than 1, maybe most of them is not a forum member :D
DexHaz, maybe you can try to follow by email? People who are getting PPR are from Oct SAs already.
