HELP!! My father got married to his wife on January 28, 2012 in the Philippines. He submitted his application to CIC on May 8, 2012. He was approved by Canada on August 20th and the application was sent to the visa office. There has been no information from the Manila Visa Office since they received they application. I have been reading on here that people were asked to submit their passports. She was not asked anything like that? They have had her application for 5 months already. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You!

You can check the spreadsheet at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AtCLbbZupkY_dHJRT2R1alhXS2xaUzFTcHZsTUhVbHc#gid=0 to see how May is faring as far as processing time.

I have added your info so you can compare it to others in the month.

hello! i'm very happy to share the news we received today - sponsor approved!

now on to Stage 2. does anyone know when the 11 month wait time starts?
do we start counting from the time the app was received in (a) CPC-Mississauga or (b) Manila embassy?
tnx in advance.

wishing everyone would receive good news sooner!

the wait of 11 months is all manila, if you got no information after 4 months contact ur MP, i waited patiently now i realize i lost out on 8 months, i would say the avg for you will be 11-3=8months You can check the spreadsheet at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AtCLbbZupkY_dHJRT2R1alhXS2xaUzFTcHZsTUhVbHc#gid=0 to see how May is faring as far as processing time.

Start counting the day your file transferred in CEM Canadian Embassy Manila for the stage 2.

i just for told i need to have a Cenomar to my requirements also its on the kit:

IDENTITY AND CIVIL STATUS DOCUMENTS
1) For the Philippines
The following original documents are required for you (principal applicant, regardless of age) and
for each of your dependent children, if applicable:
• Birth Certificate
• Marriage Certificate
• Death Certificate
• No record of marriage (CENOMAR) or Advisory on marriages
These documents must be issued by the National Statistics Office (NSO) and printed on NSO paper.

my question is this only for me as the applicant or should i also request one for my wife (sponsor)? should i request a new one which my status is married already.

Yes, just for you. That's what you will get . . . an 'AOM'.

Although now you have got me thinking . . . are you both from the Philippines?
