HELP!! My father got married to his wife on January 28, 2012 in the Philippines. He submitted his application to CIC on May 8, 2012. He was approved by Canada on August 20th and the application was sent to the visa office. There has been no information from the Manila Visa Office since they received they application. I have been reading on here that people were asked to submit their passports. She was not asked anything like that? They have had her application for 5 months already. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

;D ;D Well got call back from MP office 8) We had figured out the problem ourselves last week :'( manila office sitting and waiting for the last 10 months for THE ADVISORY OF STUTUE OF MARRAIGE WE SENT IT SEPARATELY FROM OTHER DOCS AND PASSPORT 8) 8) WE FORGOT TO INCLUDE THE FILE # WITH IT, OH WELL WE SENT IT ((((again))))LAST WEEK WITH A COPY OF THE LETTER WHICH HAS THE FILE # ON IT 8) 8) 8)SHE INFORMED US THE PASSPORT AND PICS AND REQUESTED DOCS WERE RECEIVED, WE INCLUDED A COPY OF THIER LETTER WITH THAT :-* WELL AT LEAST I KNOW MANILA WOULDNT BOTHER TO CROSS REFERENCE A NAME TO A FILE. 8) 8)mAKE SURE YOU NEVER SEND ANYTHING AND FORGET THE FILE #, BUT 10 MONTHS WITHOUT THEM EVEN ASKING OR SENDING A LETTER TO REQUEST IT AGIAN BULL*censored word* THEY ARE WELL THE LADY WAS VERY POLITE AND SHE WILL CHECK AGAIN ON MARCH 4 (6 WEEKS) AS WHAT MANILA TOLD HER THERE SHOULD BE WORK PROCESSED ON OUR APPLICATION IF THEY RECEIVE THE ADV TO STAT OF MARRAIGE, THEY BELIEVE IT IS THERE NOW JUST NOT OPENED. SHE TOLD ME ALSO TO GIVE HER A CALL ON MARCH 4 TO GIVE HER A SIMPLE REMINDER TO RECHECK. :-*i THIN A VERY SUCCESSFUL ADVENTURE WITH THE "MP" OFFICE, :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-XOH WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG TO CONTACT MY "MP"

IT SEEMS MOST OF THE PEOPLE APPLYING IN MAY ARE JUST NOW GETTING THE REQUEST FOR PASSPORTS, HOPEFULLY HIS WILL COME SOON. IT NEVER HURTS TO GET THE MP TO CHECK AND SEE IF SOMETHING IS WRONG

CEM requested nothing from me yet..thats why I was wondering when I was go through the spreadsheet like most everybody has the PPR...hopefully its not a bad sign

you have to go to ur member of parliament MP type in (member of parliament canada), check ur city or town to find out who he/she is and where located

you have to go to thier office and sign a waiver for access to information. have all names, application times, any dates you have of communications, ur file#F0000?????, ur medical expiry, anything else pertinent to ur case, sponsored persons birth date etc etc. you dont need to see the MP the workers there know more about it than him/her
