It is very clearly indicated on the checklist that a copy of your passport is required.

I didn't understood if it was with the app or just when they request.
Hmmm which page do I have to send?

Every document in the Checklist is required, unless is not applicable to you.

Police Cert and Medicals are not required Upfront for INLAND, but are required upfront for OULAND.

If your spouse is staying in Canada as a visitor or on some other visa, you can pick whether you want to apply outland or inland.

What if the spouse has overstayed as a visitor by almost a year (~14 months total)? Does this option still exist? Or is it only applicable to those who have legal status "as a visitor or on some other visa"?

hy guys newbie here lol
i'll apply for outland sponsorship to live in Montreal, qc
it takes more time than the other provinces?

It has difference between the process or i just have to send all the files to missisauga? i read that my sponsor don't need to have an income to quebec, is that right?

it's mandatory to anwser all the forms in french or they can be in english?

Interviews are not required in all cases. They request interviews for those who they suspect are not genuine, as well as for criminality and security issues.
Aah really thank so much for telling this, don't know some people really scared me by telling me that they are really strict and they sometimes very rude on the interview day..well thanks you really made me positive I was really worried before

In Most cases there will be no Interview as they appear genuine Marriage case. But if Immigration Officer does not have any solid proof that Marriage is Genuine or a Immigration Fraud or Something is not Clear there can be an Interview. It can be result of Serious Medical Issue or Any Previous Criminal Record. But as per my Personal experience most of Case do not go for Interview.
Thanks a lot.. I am feeling happy now. Hoping my visa now

Hello guys

We have passed our inland application and already received OWP for my husband. He's American Citizen.
And Inland processing is really taking so slow, and I checked the Outland thread, they took 6-8 months processing.

So, Is this case possible:

---->IF we will withdraw our Inland application and apply for Outland, can my husband can still work since he has OWP or he is not eligible to work even he has OWP?

We are outland/USA and been waiting 9 months and no sign of anything other then waiting in the future...as per case notes no one has touched out case since August 2014....

Thank you

Hey guys,
How much time before send my files, I'm able to pay the fees?
I'll send it in 2 weeks. Can I just pay right now?

You have to pay fees before, because you have to send the receipt with your application.. And its the best way to pay whole amount right away.

Thanks for the response :D
But there's a time limite between pay the fees and send the application?

No, there is no time limit.

Hi,

I am from Pakistan and currently living in Canada as a Permanent Resident. My marriage has been arranged I am getting married soon and Nikkah(official marriage ceremony)will be held December 2015.I am suggesting few scenarios , please advice which scenario is best for me

Scenario 1:
• She will apply for visit visa to Canada in next few months with her parents to visit close family friends
• If she get the visit visa is it possible to come to Canada with me in January(after marriage weeding) and then apply for masters in engineering and simultaneously I submit spouse sponsorship application
• For visit visa application, do they need to purchase return ticket before submitting the application?

Pros & Cons

Scenario 2:
• She will apply for masters in engineering for January (2016) session and get the admission and apply for student visa.
Her dad will pay for her tuition fee.
• Get married in December and then after arriving in Canada , I file the spouse sponsorship application

Pros & Cons

Scenario 3:
• Get married in December (2015) and then I will apply for her sponsorship and she will apply for masters in engineering (Student visa ) for fall 2016 semester.
I will be her sponsor and she will say in her application that she is married.

Pros & Cons

You send your files to Mississauga.
The difference between is that Quebec takes 1~3 weeks more since you have to wait stage 1 and send a letter (you receive from Mississauga) with 5 news forms for Quebec application and an extra fee.
These must be filled in french but not all of them. You can find best info o official site.

Can someone please explain to me the terms used in the Sydney spreadsheet, including the stage names and acronyms. For example my application was received by the CIC in Mississauga on November 3 2014 and I received notification of sponsor approval on 28 January 2015. They have 'supposedly' sent this for processing to the Sydney office.
Do I insert any of this information into the Sydney spreadsheet now or do I need to wait for communications from Sydney as to approval of another stage?

I have posted this question in the Sydney thread but no one has replied with an answer.
