Hello,

I was wondering if anybody experienced a marriage interview. I want to know if it is common to have one, and what I can expect if it comes up.

Hello everyone..my husband applied for my sponsor application I want to ask that interview is mandatory for every single case or does they take interview of those whom they think not genuine? One thing more does anybody faces any interview ? What's the experience?

hello everyone! In behalf of my cousin's application which will be inland sponsorship. Is it really necessary to do the medical before she submit their application and does she really need to submit a police clearance with the application? thanks in advance!

They call people for interview - if the application does not give them satisfaction about the relationship

Hello,

I am wondering if any of you can help me. I have applied for an outland sponsorship application. My visitor record will be expiring at the beginning of May, but my visitor visa expires in April 2020. I am planning to leave the country at the end of March I need to get a new visitor record if I leave the country? I have also applied for a work permit, and expect to receive it at the end of March. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Do you mean if you need to apply for an extension of visitor status prior to leaving country ? No. Why would you. It would just go waste. When you leave and re- enter, it would be reset and you get 6 months. You have visa to re-enter. Thats enough.
I am bit confused reading ur post. You say you have outland app. How did you apply for work permit ? Is it open or closed ? Aren't you supposed to be in your home country for a closed WP ?

Sorry for posting it multiple times. I am new to this forum and thought Posting it at multiple threads might get me more answers from experienced members.

I know I have to include my spouse but what do I put in my tax forms when they ask for his SIN number.

I was just taking to someone who has been filing taxes for her husband who is in Canada without a sin # and they have left it blank. They have used their husband as a dependent and have had a refund. I would consult an account to file your taxes if your not to sure .

Hi,

My fiancee is a Canadian Citizen, we are planning to get married this July 2015 at Alberta Canada. She said I only need to bring my passport as my identification and both of us should be present to be able to apply for a marriage license. I am from Philippines i have 5 years multiple entry tourist visa to Canada. And my sister, grandma, mom and dad are coming too for the wedding, all of them have 5 years tourist visa too.

I have a question if do we have to tell the immigration officer that i am getting married inside Canada? Although aside from getting married we are visiting my aunt who is a permanent resident of Canada and will be attending assembly as well.

Tha'ts all my husband needed for us to get a licence. When my husband was coming he just told them he was coming for a visit . He didn't give them any more information that was not needed . His next visit he did say he was coming to visit his wife . You don't have to tell them your getting married. Never lie if they ask you that question directly .

Interviews are not required in all cases. They request interviews for those who they suspect are not genuine, as well as for criminality and security issues.

Hello guys

We have passed our inland application and already received OWP for my husband. He's American Citizen.
And Inland processing is really taking so slow, and I checked the Outland thread, they took 6-8 months processing.

So, Is this case possible:

---->IF we will withdraw our Inland application and apply for Outland, can my husband can still work since he has OWP or he is not eligible to work even he has OWP?

Thank you

He would no longer be eligible to work, since the OWP is only issued because of the INLAND application.

Hey guys, just finishing my applycation.
Should I send a copy of my passport since the beggining or a copy is not needed and I just have to wait 'till CIC ask for it?

It is very clearly indicated on the checklist that a copy of your passport is required.
