If you get married before you land with your PR visa, your PR visa becomes invalid because you now have a spouse that was not declared on your application. You would have to return the visa to the visa office and ask to add your spouse to your application. The visa office would then have to process background checks for your spouse and do medicals and eventually would issue visas for both of you.dreamtocanada_uk said:

I challenged the decision in Federal Court (January 2012) and was granted leave (meaning the Court agreed to hear my case, July 2012) with a hearing scheduled for October 2012. I had met someone here in late 2008 and in the ensuing years we decided to marry (May 2011). I really hadn't expected a refusal, but after the refusal my spouse and I agreed to submit a second application (March 2012) as a sponsored spouse. In September 2012 CIC agreed to grant my second application and I agreed to dismiss my JR application.
