Re: HELP! Advice needed for Work Permit

Do we need an LMO? Do we fill out the "from outside of Canada one" and for that form write Not applicable as we are applying from inside Canada?

or use Application to Change my conditions, Extend my stay or remain in Canada as a worker? (IMM 5710)
I can't seem to figure it out and would love your expertise!
You do not need an LMO - you aren't bound to an employer or job, which is why it is "open". Don't fill it in or write not applicable (whichever it takes to make the form validate properly). The online form apparently has an "open work permit" option.

In my experience, people use the IMM 5710 (change conditions) because you are asking to change from visitor status to worker status. The annoying thing is that the forms are generic. But CIC seems to figure out what you want when you include a copy of your AIP request and ask for an open work permit...

Is it possible that my ecase says in process for the 2nd even I didn't send my medical test yet?
The VO is in Ottawa?is it there the treat the inland and Outland for the 2nd stage?
If I'm inland, how long it will take the VO to receive the medical test result?if I do it on November 6?
Absolutely. In Process just means the VO has looked at your application (so you can't get your application fee back any longer).

When your medicals have been added to your file the status will change so it also says "medical results have been received".

Yah that's wht i can see awhile ago... This morning it was both application received.. And now decision made and the other is app. Received. So whats the best thing ? Hahaha i am kinda confused abt the one that you said which is on the last part... I appreciate your help :)
if you see the same as I have written, then it means that your sponsorship is approved, and your file is somewhere at the VO. at this point, nothing else to do for you, apart from waiting.
Good luck,
Sweden

Hello everyone,

Hey Coolsun, and welcome to the forum

I am a PR live in Canada and applying for the PR for my spouse how lives outside. Ifter going through all the guides and available info, I just need to reconfirm the following five things:

1. I need to send both sets of my applications (application for the sponsorship) and (the documents for Sponsored person) together to Mississauga, Ontario? Kindly confirm or rectify. (Thnx!) correct

2. The sponsorship form to be signed by both (myself, and my spouse who is NOT in Canada). Kindly confirm or rectify. (Thnx!) not sure which one you are referring to, can you give the form number just to be on the safe side?

3. The Generic application form to be signed only by my spouse who is in India. Kindly confirm or rectify. (Thnx!) same here, can you please give the form number and I'll look it up

4. My spouse lived in Kuwait with me for about a year. Therefore, I must submit the PCC from Kuwait for her "ONLY" and the PCC from India as well? Kindly confirm or rectify. (Thnx!)correct, sponsors are not required to submit PCC

5. Since, I am PR, I need NOT to send any of PCC along with my application? Kindly confirm or rectify. (Thnx!)it's not because you are PR - if you were Canadian citizen it would be the same, it's because you are the sponsor - CIC will take contact with RCMP to do the background checks on their side, that's part of the first stage assessment

Accordingly, I need to fill-in, print and send all the documents to her for signing and start the process for the PCC from Kuwait, which I am not sure how much time will it require.if you need help on that one, you can try and post something in the Abu Dhabi thread as applicants from Kuwait will go through there, so they might have a better idea http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/all-abu-dhabi-applicant-please-share-you-experience-please-comment-t106907.15.html

Good luck with your application,
Sweden

I will sincerely appreciate your kind prompt feedback.

Regards,

Hello,

I am preparing to send my spousal application. Would 70-80 pics be enough to depict a 7 year relationship?

Thanks
Hello,

I don't think anybody will be able to answer that question for you, as it depends on each case. What you need to ask yourself is : by looking at the pictures ( and the other proofs that you have), would it be convincing to an external eye that you have a genuine relationship? if you have 70 to 80 pictures of one event only, then probably not. But if you have pictures from all stages of your relationship over the last 7 years, different places, friends and family, etc, there is a good chance that it will help convince that you are in a genuine relationship.

Good luck,
Sweden

Thank you so much... the "general forms" have def been the confusing part. Do we apply now with sponsorship in harcopy and have page on top saying we would like this to be processed immediately after AIP?

then if you explain well your relationship and have all the proofs that they required ( pictures, but also common bank account if possible etc - see the detailed list in the guideline) it should help the VO to see that your relationship is genuine and hopefully you'll have a fast approval.
Good luck,
Sweden

Re: Spousal sponsorship - Inland on Multiple Entrance visitor visa - possible?

Leon: We are not sure if the Multiple Entrance Visa will require an extension to stay in canada and apply for work permit as it is valid until 2016... is there a 6 month requirement for this one too? What form do we need to apply for the work permit?
You need an extension. A multiple entry visa allows you to visit Canada many times and stay 6 months at a time but it does not allow you an unbroken stay until 2016.

Hi guys one more question,

Can I send the application to CPC-M without the F.BI.I report and make a note informing that its been applied for and will send it during stage 2? Or will they send back the application if I dont attach it to it?

Thanks

It's much better to wait... any missing document might delay your application, and even if it is not systematic, some applicants have had their application sent back... and it will create delays in your file, and risk being lost. The best you can do to make sure that your application gets processed smoothly and without delay is to wait for the FBI check and send everything together.

Hello!

I am sponsoring my husband and I would like to ask you if by any chance you have an idea whether CIC investigates if the person to be sponsored pays his healthcare and social insurance regularly? Thanks a lot for your help!

My DMP sent the report via FedEx, so there's no different in the amount of time. My medicals were signed off by the immigration medical doctor one month after I had my physical, so probably 3 weeks after the package was delivered to Ottawa. I received a signed copy of the medical officer's decision because I was in court with CIC on my previous application refusal and they submitted my new medical to try and convince the court not to grant leave because I qualified in a different category.
