send the forms as well as proof and additional documents, the fees, police reports and medical receipt.

You need to read the instruction guides, those are very general questions. You need as much proof as possible, to begin with.

Hello everyone.i m from Bangladesh and new to this forum.needed some urgent help.i got married on 2013 and my wife sponsored me on 2014 from ottawa.we had a baby boy on who was born on 10 october 2014 in ottawa.had an interview call was held on 25 april 2016.visa officer asked me to submit a new police clearance certificate and wanted me to go for a DNA test but he e-mailed me the re-medical application form right away and told me to do the medical asap.i did my medical on may 1st 2016.have 2 questions to ask:

1.should i submit the new police certificate to cic singepore(as my case is proccessing in singapore) through mail and if so is there any specific address for immigration under family class section at singapore office?

2.how long does it take to get a DNA test sample request from cic and how much it costs?

Plz help.thanks in advance and best of luck to all the brother and sisters.

Hi there, i m filling up the application to sponsor my husband from pakistan. Please help....there's special form according to the countries imm3907e on top they asking file# ...... how do i know the file number it's not mentioned anywhere and 2end there's question num (12) list your sponsor's complete history of employment-in-canada and outside canada. well, i m working since 16 yrs from now i remember until 2009 be4 tht i dont really remember company names address n all tht some of them r closed.Its my secend marriage last application was done in 2006 so probably they have my history of work or not i dont kn just scared of wrong info.. please help...

They sent me a email stating they've received the application and how I can check and blah blah blah.. I went to check this morning and it said the status started.
Anxiousness will have me checking that thing everyday LOL

QUESTION: if I chose to have all correspondence online, will I get an email every time stating that I have a new update or do I have to go in and check randomly to see if anything is new?
Anyone that has experience with the online feature please help.

Do yourself a favor...Do NOT check your account daily, or even weekly!

You will only see things that have changed in Ecas, when you log into your account. The only time you'll hear from CIC is if they need something from you, or when you have been approved as his sponsor. This is still taking well over a year (last check was ~ 17 months). It's quite possible that you won't hear anything until late next year, unless they start to pick up the case. I suggest you just keep your eyes on the appropriate Inland spreadsheet to see what happening. Him being out of status for 7 years (now) shouldn't cause any real delays, but then again...it very well could.

Hey good for you guys for finally getting that application in. Since I assume you applied inland I agree with Ponga, checking every day is pointless since inland takes a good long while. But be relieved that you got the worst part over with, actually sending it in!

Just be as truthful as possible, and do some online research to try and find the names of the companies. It's kind of odd you don't remember, because I remember the first company I worked for like 20 years ago. However it's normal to not remember the exact dates. I guess you didn't save copies of your old forms?

The file # is for the visa officer. You can put in a UCI number where it asks for it, if your spouse has one.

Hey guys I just called cic now cuz i still haven't received SA so they said its still on review because I have done previous sponsorship before and they are waiting for Social security for some documents.

Do you know how long this would take for Social security to send cic documents from my previous sponsorship??

They're likely checking to make sure your previous undertaking is no in default (like if whoever you sponsored took welfare).

On IMM0008 do i put my spouse as dependant or i leave her out. Then i have 2 kids im puting as dependands and it says their intended occupation and they are 5 and 7 years old..so do i put NONE?
Also for signature do i print my name or do i hand sign it after i print it out.

Leave her out, put "N/A" for the kids, and yes sign the documents. Make sure you do or they will send back your application.

One more question. I just sow that my wife first has to apply to be approved to be sponsor.
Now i dont get that part. do i do that before or is it just that paper she fils and i send it all at the same time..and there are 2 adreses one is in Alberta and another one in Ontario..each checklist i print out has diferent adress to send papers in. so which one is real one.
