Just recieved my gcms notes. Everything seems fine, there is a note by the Visa Officer which he concludes this way "I am satisfied the marraige is valid and the sponsor is residing in Canada. BF Interview"

Now can someone tell me what BF interview means here? Is this a code word for something?

My wife has her interview on March 7th.

BF meand bonafide. It means they want to conduct the interview to assess whether you two are in a bonafide (genuine) relationship or not.

So the marraige is valid but they are not sure if the relationship is geuine or not, that doesnt make sense. But considering how dumb they have been lately im not surprised.

When you renewed your passport did you inform cic with the new passport number.
And which month applicant are you?

Yest I already informed cic about both passports when I applied for PR.
I'm April 2016 applicant.

I think by valid marriage means that it is legal since they have a Nikkah Nama on your file. But they are not sure of the genuiness of the relationship They want to assess if the relationship is bonafide or marriage took place to enter into Canada only.
