I think you do it says in immigration check list.

Letter of employment so they can find your eligibility.

I dont remember the requirement and dont know the updated checklist. Please go over your checklist for applicant and sponsor (both generic and country specific)
but we submitted letter of employment of both applicant and sponsor so it matches with the info we wrote in the forms.

Lost it at you can't handle the truth. Lol. Good one KamranKK. I think we should move on from this conversation because no one can really prove or disprove this theory of yours about the Nikkah papers. Also not sure why someone else's case should matter to you so much.

Anyhow, folks I had a question - have there been any cases where someone has sent additional supporting documentation before being asked and their files have been opened earlier than scheduled (i.e. Rukhsati pictures etc.)? Or they have gotten DMs soon after? Or am I living in a fool's paradise?

With the data at hand, have we been able to figure out some pattern as to what files they pick up first and work on them, is it by sponsor approval date or by application receipt date in Mississauga? Or is there no method to this madness.

Just some Friday afternoon thoughts.

One key thing I pass on to everyone applying is that don't rush to file ur application. That is a common mistake everyone makes. I was told the same, but I gathered all documents I could. I spent time researching and then applied almost 3-4 months after marriage making sure my file was best to as much I could make it.

Another forum member told me this u have one impression to make on ur file when they open it. If it is very complete good impression ur file will move quickly, missing documents or not good presentation and wrongly filled form means delay. So it is key to spend the time on ur file before u file it.

Forgot to add credit also goes to my lawyer who made sure forms and documents provided where complete and presentation was good.

I need advice in case my spouse is doing a govt job does she need to provide NOC along with application for PR. Please tell me if there is any kind of problem fro canadian immigration in case spouse is a Govt teacher in Pakistan or India.

Alhamdulilah my nikkah is done on 22 and rukhsati is in February 1st week. My concern is that I have Urdu nikkah nama which has been translated in to English. On my English document the registration date shows as 26 the Jan (the day I got translated) Now when I will apply for marriage certificate the date of issuance will be another. So is it okay, to have different dates on different documents.

Also please verify that have to submit photocopy of Urdu nikkah nama with original english translation or its photocopy.

These days you can get combined marriage certificate from Nadra office, after registration of the marriage.

Remember to keep certified copy for yourself if you're submitting originals....or get duplicates made for your record as those will be required when renewing Nadra ID, NICOP etc
