7-10 working days after submission.
When did you apply for PR?

December 2015 from Afghanistan though.

Hey everyone!! My husband got his ppr today... masha Allah!! Were so happy now.... finally... but they told us to send the paaspoet to vfs islamabad... can anyone give me the accurate address and how much time it takes... and thru whom we sent it thru... please

Regarding the slowness guyz. My lawyer told me to experience LVO to slow during January cause some vo are on vacations are others just lazy after holidays so hang in there inshallah they will pick up the pace

Guys quick question, on IRCC webforum how much data can we send at once, is there any limitation like 3mb or 4 mb?
and secondly should it be one pdf file and we can send multiples?

Fill in your details on the webform, on the next page you will find out the max file limit and if you are allowed to upload more than 1 doc.

I was hoping somebody could help me with the commonly used acronyms here. People say things like SA, PPR, COPR, PA, etc... can somebody clarify the well used acronyms?

Secondly, what do the people on the forum think about applying for a visit visa for their spouse while the PR (lol.... permanent residence) application is in progress? Would it negatively affect the application at all? I applied for my wife at the end of last year and am thinking of applying for a visit visa in the meantime to see if she can come to visit me for a month. Is this a bad idea?

No do not apply for visit visa very low probability they will grant it. Just wait for immigration to come through.

I agree with ra03ra on very low probability for getting spousal visit visa while your PR application is in process. However, there is absolutely no harm in trying. Visit visa application will not affect your spousal sponsorship application in any negative way. It may be very very slightly positive showing how determined your spouse and you are for living together.

Should i go for spousal application or make her apply seperately through Express Entry to get her to canada quickly?

First of all with these expertise, does she qualify for express entry?
2- I don't think the express entry visa is faster than the spouse visa.
