I gave them both.

Also, MP just got back to me to say that the notes from Sept 30th are correct (I don't know what that means? Does it mean we are getting interviewed?). However my notes were generated on Nov 17th.

Also they (MP) said that our eligibility is still in process. Even though the officer is satisfied, they still need to determine if the marriage is genuine. Makes zero sense.

you should go for CSE at the moment for clear picture that are u on interview

I've sent a CSE, but waiting for a response. Do they tell you if you're on the interview list?

It looks like when they didn't find your Nikah Nama they said marriage is not genuine, then when you sent Nikah nama they say ok "marriage is genuine" and they are satisfied with the "marriage aspect" but are now determining if the "relationship" is genuine. : :. So can't for the life think why they are not requesting communication information. :'(. I am thinking if there is something you can send voluntary to convince them on the "relationship" aspect like more communication stuff mayby seniors can way in on this well.

In my notes, one of the conclusions said: sufficient evidence of communications. I don't know what more to provide. I sent them monthly chat logs ???

they are referring to the PA's eligibility. that's what we were trying to find in your notes...

let's wait for your second set of notes before jumping to any conclusions.

Yes, next set should come in first week of December and then the following, right before the holidays.

My wife lived her whole life in one city . we got married 2 months ago so moved with me to different city .

now my question is do i need police character certificate from both cities ?

This is correct. Response to PFL cleared their concern of whether Landing is legally married in Pakistan. One can be legally married and still not have a genuine relationship. When eligibility is passed it means CIC is satisfied there is a genuine continuing spousal relationship. So according to Landing's MP that eligibility is still in process as they now move on from PFL into normal eligibility assessment.

They are not requesting most recent communication proof because they like to take their sweet time. But u should know that by now.

I believe you are only required to submit one PCC from a Pak city you lived in, usually birth city. Immediately after marriage my wife and I shifted from Karachi to Islamabad. I only submitted my wife's PCC from Karachi and it turned out fine. Alhamdulillah.

You can submit police character certificate from where your wife is currently living. Just make sure they write correct place of birth, it is absolutely acceptable. In my case I sent Police character certificate from current city without any issues.

Just a quick update. My wife completed her landing on Nov 12, 2016 at Pearson Airport. The whole process took about 10 minutes. They asked if she had any criminal background, they asked about the cash she was carrying and lastly they explained the conditional PR. Took signatures on couple of spots on COPR. She had layover of 1h40 minute at Pearson and was still able to clear immigration and customs for her next flight.
